8 hours ago, there were around 100k keywords and now they have 260k keywords. All this happening on Nov 1, Nov 2. I think the RD was around 20-25 yesterday.
Their homepage does not work.
The page will highest traffic (/gei8/dell-s4128f-support.html) has shit content.
No value for UR, DR.

Is this the power of some super powerful PBNs or something else?

A Google for the domain shows it as Qual Tick Windows and Glass. It has a Facebook page and instagram that look normal.

Whois shows it is registered with Namecheap created in 2018 and expires in 2020.

Something weird is going on. Maybe hacked?

It's not PBNs. It's a hacked website or an expired domain that got picked up by the Japanese.

PBNs are not required to boost the number of keywords you rank for - excessive on page content and keywords do that. PBNs rather, help the position a site ranks for those keywords.

It's likely a hacked local business website.

Recently I've seen a lot of similar hacked websites. Not just by Japanese, someone is doing the same thing in the pharma industry and ranking on page 1. They must be making a fortune.
 
How long do you think a hacked website will last?
 
Hacked or not. They're doing a great job SEO wise. Why don't they do this to domain bought from an auction?

I agree but it gives peace of mind that nobody is going to come after them.
 
The original website home page is working on my end, however if you check the example page you provided, at the bottom we can see weird anchors (lv, wj19bs, e4amkc7, zxx5, 32t, ipf, s4xwps3h, ii, fpc, ctdb, h3nf) linking to infinity pages in "hacked?" websites with the same patterns of blocks of shitty text and some random anchors at the bottom.... Kinda weird how they did not use any contextual backlink in their article!!
 
It's pretty obvious that they got hacked and inserted with a ton of spam pages. Now they are deindexed.
 
A typical example of a site hacked by Japanese... Asian people are insane...
 
It's the power of not updating WordPress and using vulnerable plugins which presents a way for hackers to inject shells.

How to find these hackable sites? There are tons of google dorks added every day to numerous forums.

Script kiddies would use them to upload their shitty logo and deface the site. While the smart ass would blast 1000 pages for temporary PBNs with keywords stuffed and interlink them with other hacked sites until they jerkfest the last drop of link juice.

Does it work? Who knows? SEO is a game of cat and mouse with reverse engineering as the weapon of the mouse against the cat.

After seeing different types of results while ranking content, sometimes I wonder whether google uses natural language or contextual scanning in their rank brain algorithm.
 
You guys sometimes surprise me, If a site is on japanese doesnt mean If was a japanese, we have brute forcers and those Kali Linux leet haxor programs that anyone can find out and keep trying, even outdated methods Works as some websites are made by web designers who use free templates of centuries Ago.
I had seen multiple First world country hackers that are into other countries and they dont even know the language by the way.

What about this one? It might be a google news site. But with RD=17, and D-F*ll*w links from only 12 domains, can someone explain the jump in traffic?
This one is not hacked...

  • Their main page is working properly.
  • If you go to links from their main page, to some post, that's working fine.
  • But when you go to posts from Ahrefs (posts with good traffic), the post is redirected to newnationnews and usafriday. Only checked the links under Top 5 organic keywords (United States) in Ahrefs.

How do you say is not hacked, since it redirects to another website? They use a cloaking method to detect if visits come from Google, directly or bots, and give the according page. Those websites are hacked. I see hundreds daily. End of story.
 
I think it's not hacked because...
It's redirecting to a legit site (newnewsnation, usafriday) with the content on same topic as the URL.
I've opened the pages from my browser (direct), proxy browser (direct) and clicked from Ahrefs, and just now clicked from Google too. All are giving the same result.

Anyways, you might be right if it's some advanced Cloaker.

I can't share, because I can ruin someones business, and I don't like to receive negative feedback on this forum. But trust me, it's very easy to come across those domains, as Google's algo is acting strange lately. You just need to find a pattern then check all domains. You will get a bunch of domains.
