I don't need a lot of keywords, I just need some real profitable keyword. Can you help me?
I am a newbie, I don't know what profitable keywords by Google Keyword Assistant.

It is too expensive. I have no way to buy it at the moment.

Freemium tool, but you can search web for crack/Patch for this software.

This will help you know the features https://www.link-assistant.com/seo-software/semrush-review.html

Find your main competitors and see what keywords they use in their main articles
or use semrush

Can't believe it's been 10 replies and nobody mentioned Keyword Shitter yet!

What is the best tool to get location specific keywords for an affiliate site?

I think it also depends on your target location / country.
Like for German Keywords KD from ahrefs could be misleading.
We use kwfinder and ahrefs.

How much can you spare to invest in a premium tool such as Ahrefs? Take into account that it will not only help you with keyword research but also with content creation and, especially, finding linkbuilding opportunities.

I will add to this list...

6. Keyword Researcher. You can find a cracked version in the download section here.
7. Google Trend
8. Excel Spreadsheet
9. Moz Toolbar
10. SEOQuake (Chrome Extention)

With these 10 tools, you will all set in order to conduct highly effective keyword research for FREE!

As per my knowledge, the Google Keyword Planner is one of the most used and popular keyword research tools out there but if you need more detailed and competitive analysis, I would recommend going for one of the advanced tools like SEMRUSH, SpyFu etc.
