Hey guys,

for one of my site, I rank and 2nd place, I am getting huge traffic from last few days as my competitor site which ranks on 1st is down giving 500 error.

Is there anything I can do to remove site from google search or benefit out of it?

Help appreciated

Well, if you have a few days patience and they don't fix their site Google will drop it of the SERPs as far as I know.

run adowords camping using competetor keyword , and make lower budget and exclude poor traffic country , thats all , within 15 days your rank will goes to 1 , instead of exisitng one , if the 500 error not resolved within the adwords camping

If your competitor has plenty of natural links, it's a huge chance for you.

Run a broken link building campaign.

If competitor has 100 natural backlinks you can convert them into 20-50 backlinks to your site . Just write with relevant/thoughtful pitches.

Good luck!

Broken link building method is actually a good idea. Its a great way to build backlinks for any website.
