yeah bro i noticed that too, some shorts blow up with almost zero info in description or tags, just a strong title and sometimes one hashtag, i think youtube pushing more on watch time and replays than on seo right now, so even simple uploads can go viral if people actually watch till the end or rewatch
I have also seen those shorts. Here are two examples: #freerishta #zarooratrishta
All videos have millions of views and hundret of thousands of likes.
What I also noticed is: For example if I watch one video of them on my phone in the shorts tab, all of the following videos only show these two hashtags. I haven't liked any of them also skipped them instantly.
Maybe a way to trick the algo. Or as someone already mentioned, a key for bot farms.
The other day it only showed me videos with #azah...... -> can't fully remember the name. Same thing, only those shorts popped up, one after the other.

Exactly! It’s all about engagement now. YouTube seems to prioritize viewer retention more than anything else, even over SEO. If a short grabs attention and gets people to watch the whole thing (or replay it), that’s what gets the algorithm’s attention. So, sometimes the simplest videos with just a strong hook and solid content can go viral without needing all the extra details. It’s a good reminder that quality and viewer interest are key!

Yes, sometimes shorts with minimal descriptions still go viral — often it’s about timing, algorithm testing, or just the content resonating more than the tags.

can you check the demographics for these views? region? age group?
i saw that same hashtag on a reddit post, someone allegedly saying they are tier 2,3 bot farms

Shorts are not random. I can confirm that you need tags and keywords too. Where did you get that information?

Sometimes these viral shorts use minimal description to encourage viewers to focus on the content itself.

The key word is "trendy".
They're all over the internet.
I remember Dubai chocolate or Labubu.
Crazy views per second!
You have to know and write down the process to find truly trending things.

Some random shorts with barely anything in the description still end up blowing up. Seems like YouTube pushes them for some reason.

Reason: AI is stupid.
How many times I did something only because AI made a mistake and allowed some glitches? All the time. I do that all the time.Or find truly trending glitches.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Sometimes videos with almost no tags or descriptions still blow up, probably because of trending or niche hashtags like #jaidmeel. Could be the algorithm favoring certain tags or creators. Definitely interesting!
