I wear somedays seeing some shorts with no description, no hashtags in the tags section and only a hashtag in the title going viral

One of these hashtags is #jaidmeel

Anyone has detected something similar?

Haven’t seen #jaidmeel specifically, but I’ve noticed random niche hashtags getting traction.

Yes, I’ve noticed similar trends too. Sometimes videos go viral with just one hashtag, even without description or tags. Seems like the algorithm favors certain content patterns.

shorts are random so tags/keywords dont matter.

I suspect that it's a kind of key to make bot farms to boost the video

And after the initial push the algorithm do the rest

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Some shorts with minimal info still blow up—probably algorithm testing or boosted engagement. That #jaidmeel tag is popping up a lot lately.

Yes, of course, luck is needed in this. It is not possible to suddenly become a trend without any hard work without luck.

Yeah noticed a few and all of them were performing very well. It's all algorithm's magic. Really difficult figure out what's working and what's not.

Yes, that’s possible but usually the algorithm pushes videos organically based on engagement and watch time using bot farms is risky and can cause issues for your account.

A unique hashtag can make it easy to push multiple videos at once and make it look like an organic trend instead of sending views through URLs.

Yes but some time no hashtag no effort vedio comes in trend they are very lucky.

There are several factors that are responsible for going viral but sometimes the algorithm just does a giveaway for some video that doesn't check all the boxes for going viral.

It's not normal

A died short, I have changed the title to the hashtag in trend and suddenly the views are rocketing

Youtube still plays pretty fast and loose when it comes to Shorts, even now. It's really hard to say what exactly went down and though I haven't seen the specific example you mentioned, I have seen the trend: reels popping off through nothing more than a hashtag.

Yeah, I’ve seen the same thing — occasionally a video takes off just from a single hashtag, even if there’s no caption or extra tags. It looks like the algorithm picks up on specific content styles or engagement triggers more than just metadata.
