What the hell is SEO?

hello guys,

my name is ali and i know this might seem noobish but oh well.
i have a blog and say basically i want to drive traffic to it i understand i need to rank it and put "SEO friendly" articles on it.

a lot of these words such as seo, backlinks, PR6 and all this other stuff i dont know what they are, could somebody explain to me what the hell they are?

First of all, google those terms you do not understand.

Then come back on here and spend a couple of weeks reading a bunch of threads to find out how to promote your blog.
