What should we do with DEAD Videos on a Channel?

Hi, so i have semi successful kids channel and currently ~40 mil views/163 videos. BUT i have a 97 of those videos getting less then 1000 views/month. Now if i were youtube i'd be like man this channel sux because most of his videos are getting no attention/views.....and not suggest my videos. (this is the main problem of my channel, only 23% of my views are suggested)

Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Should I remove these videos that are not performing at all? Or would it hurt my channel more if i remove them?

I think most of my videos are good and some are amazing that are not performing but again they're not getting any views......

So someone please please please help me out and if anyone is familiar with the situation let me know what I should be doing with these videos, thank you!

just do live steaming videos and get ur channel more subs in less time

You can compile the old videos into a "best of" video to try to give the content new life. I don't think youtube likes it when videos get deleted plus there's always a chance that a dead video will suddenly get popular for whatever reason. It's happened to me before.

Its totally up to you if you want to remove them or not. Since you might have spent time in creating those videos I would suggest to try updating the videos like try changing the title, description, tags see if that makes any changes, Analyze the competition, Purchase some views.
