yes, try statcounter.com it is useful for tracking visitors.
You get daily number of visitors and their location and url too.

i am trying to submit my tracking cod for google analytics on my wp site.
but where do i need tp put it?
the say: Copy the following code, then paste it onto every page you want to
track immediately before the </body> tag.
but i have like 50 pages so i cant go every page and put the code where do i need to put
it so it will include every page on my site??

No, for WP just put it in your footer.php, it will work for all your pages.

right now i have statpress plugin and wassup pugin, now the problem that i have is tht
stat press shows 8 visitors today and wasu shows 190 visitors to day so wtf???

i cant find the <body> tag in the footer.php
all i see is on long long line of code
so how ca i paste the code??

anyone??? i need help guys

i still need some help here, i dont know where in the footer to paste the code
as i got one long line of code and i dont see the body tag so pealse help guys

I don't know much about WP, but stat trackers can be pasted anywhere if they are invisible. So just put it in the very bottom of the footer. However, if the tracker is not invisible, then you must find a place in the body to put it. Keep it invisible though.

Get rid of both plugins and replace it with google-analytics-for-wordpress. You will find it at wordpress plugins.

Before you activate the plugin, go to Google Analytics and get your Analytics Account ID. This is the UA-265120983-23 number.

Once you have this number copy it to your clipboard and go back and activate the plugin. Once you do, go to settings and paste the code into the area provided and then goto the bottom and "Update the settings" on the plugin. This will place your code where it belongs in your WP blog and you will never have to do anything more than update the plugin when it's required.

Now, Google Analytics is ok, but it provides you with limited data. It's limited because any browser that has their java turned off, Google analytics will not pick it up. So you are working with sub-standard stats.

It does not sound like you are ready to install AWSTATS yet so I would recommend a simple program that is free and will help fill in the gaps that Google Analytics leave behind.

It's called Slimstat and you can find it at ww*w.slimstat.*net
The installation instructions are there also and it is very simple and easy to install. Latest version is 2.0.

You will find that with the google analytics plugin and the slimstat script installed, you will get the stats you want, but remember the analytical information are a day behind.

I hope this helps you.
