Well, in the last step in reviewing my article in Ezinearticles they gave me a message that my article is 'In Problem Status' for these 2 reasons:
Sorry, we do not accept articles which contain affiliate or distributor links.
Sorry, we do not allow the promotion of your company or product in the article body.

well, I don't understand what they mean by 'we don't accept articles with affiliate links'! how come that there are many articles with affiliate links in Ezine then?
besides, I didn't put a link in article body, what do they mean by promoting my product in article body then?

I know for many ppl here it may appear as a dumb questions, but its my first time with Ezine :)

Thanks

Just spin that article and post in on various web 2.0 properties throughout the web.. btw, goarticles will accept your article.

thank u, but what kind of editing should I do with this article to resubmit it to Ezine? I still want to resubmit it there!

Hard to say without seeing the article and resource box.

unfortunately, I still can't send PMs to send it to you.
but my resource box is something like that:
Is (MY Product Name with a hyper link to its affiliate link) a scam? Visit ( My-Comparison-Style-LandingPage) to read a Full report about (MY Product) as well a5 the other top five products!

Ezine don't like it when you talk about the product that you are promoting in such a way that you are trying to convince people to buy it. You need to write about it as if you are reviewing it not trying to convince people that it is the greatest product on the market. Try to write Pros and cons of the product but obviously don't make the cons that bad. Example: Con of the iPad- It is hard to get one because most stores are sold out of them.

Your resource box can have affiliate links; are you sure there were none in the body of your article? Ezine editors have their heads up their asses most of the time.

You can't link to your affiliate link. You need to link to a domain or subpage and redirect that to your affiliate link.

ofc I'm sure, and I still can't understand what did they mean
:confused:

Hey,

a friend of mine said I should stop spinning my articles because Google is catching on..

do you think google is catching on? and if they are, will it kill my seo ? or would they believe its duplicate content or something?

i linked to a page in my website, which is redirected to the affiliate link, is it required to do it through the domain itself?

Don't get too irritated with EZA... things like this are the norm for them. I have taken articles I wrote myself, not a rewrite and put them up to EZA and they have been rejected. Checked in copyscape and everything was clear.

Now some times they will actually give you a # of the article that it's similar to and sometimes they wont. Either way... if you ask me it's a load of garbage. But there isn't much you can do about it except go to other article directories.

you cannot talk about your website in the article. You can generally talk about the niche that you are in. If you start mentioning your website in the article body, they will reject it.

You also have to read up their guidelines if you don't want your articles rejected. It says again and again that you cannot send your articles to a affiliate link. Redirect is fine. How did you miss that?

Ezine are jerkoff's. Self promotion is one thing but they seem to hate when you give an honest review about something, your not allowed to big something up, even if it's fantastic, and your not allow to talk bad about anything, even if its really crap.

I have been rejected from platinum status twice now for this reason. Just beause I tell the truth about products (if there great or shit I will say) and Ezine don't like it. :zx11pisse

you can only put your website information in the resource box THATS IT

Well, it's a review style article and it mentioned a product (positively) not a website, now I know I was supposed to tell the pros and cons, so I'm rewriting the article again :rolleyes:

Redirect is fine. How did you miss that?

Yes, I redirected to the affiliate link, but it was through a page on my site, later I knew the right thing was to do the redirect through a top-level domain, and I already fixed it this morning.

Ezine doesn't accept affiliate links. It only accept redirect using top level domain. So
www.abc.com -> affiliate link OK
www.abc.com/abc -> affiliate link NOT OK
Goarticles, articlesbase will accept affiliate links.
Goarticles - > auto approve
Articlesbase -> Simple check
Hope that helps
