CTR goes hand in hand with ranking position. Your average is 7. Top 3 positions are getting most of the clicks. Simply by ranking higher your CTR will go up.

How click worthy your title is, is also a factor. You should address the query in the title of course but things like capitalization of certain words and letters or adding special characters can also do wonders.

Also, don't disclose your website for heaven's sake.

Maybe the title and description are not that sexy, but 6% is still good.

You can start to play around with your titles and descriptions to see what yields better results. I like using the Rank Math plugin which tells me how good my titles are. Using power words in your titles as well as including numbers really helps to boost the CTR.

Apart from that the higher you rank the better your CTR will be :)

why should i not disclose my website is there a problem?

Improve your ranking for your targeted keywords. Also, you can also improve it automatically if you have the right tool. In all, it your position that determines the CTR

It might be.

You don't know who's looking.

People might go after the same keywords you are or DDOS you just for fun etc.

For ctr you need to add engaging words, year, like: 10 best workout tips, and if your title is workout tips for you which do you think will attract more ctr?

well you already said it right. I am going to change some titles.

Have a look at AWR's CTR study to benchmark your site:
Code:

your CTR is actually really solid for ranking where you are. Also, make sure that you are filtering down to specific keywords (if you aren't already).

Hey~ I'm actually doing a study on this with on of my websites!

Maybe you can apply it to your articles. This is what I'm doing:
  • I try to use marketing keywords also known as "power words" in the title of my articles. You can find a list of power words here. I use this list as well.
  • For featured images, I believe they're pretty powerful like H1 in an article. For all of my featured images, I add title and a call to action for Google search impressions and future reposts on Pinterest, etc. I would add title and a CTA saying "Click or Tap Image To Learn More"
At the moment, I don't have much data but the website has been doing pretty well for its 2nd month.

I know it's probably not the best advice but I hope that this will give you ideas! :) Good luck!
