About a month ago I got excited and added this LP to my site:
https://ragingalcoholic.com/stop-drinking-alcohol-mobile/
It is for mobile traffic only, almost all my traffic comes from mobile.
Anyway, I updated my Bing Ads and started to use words like “addiction” and “rehab” “must have insurance” that sort of stuff.
My ads weren’t sexy, they were for people who had hangovers right now and wanted to make some changes. (or maybe their boss or clients or legal partners were bitching at the them). People who were hurting, desperate, and had their phones out. That was my target group.
Anyway, Bing stopped my traffic. They use the same company to verify “rehab” offers now that FB and Google use. I am just a “lead generator” so they will not consider me.
Which means all this work is gone.
So the creatives I used had the phone number cancelled by MarketCall. (I get it, I wasn’t doing anything. They shouldn’t pay for me to have phone number that nobody is calling. I don’t blame them)
Is there anyway to resurrect this site? I just can’t seem to give up on it.
Is Native advertising targeted enough to hit my “hurting and desperate” callers? If not, what is? Push traffic was mentioned to me but it does not seem targeted enough.
I am thinking if I could show MarketCall a good traffic source they would give me another phone number. They also say the rent them, so maybe they would allow me to rent it. (I already emailed my account rep Diane, so we will see, but it is no good without traffic)
Do you think it is possible to resurrect this site?
OR
do I just need to let it go and pay somebody for some Push traffic and build a simple landing page with Pure Lander that gives away free phones for an email submit? Or something like that. (I read the STM ebook, and all the Charles Ngo giveaway ebooks, so I think simple email submits are right for me to start with)
Anyway, do you think I can fix the addiction site or should I just start with Pure Lander and pop under or push traffic.
BTW
That landing page generated a few calls on the day it ran, but that was before I updated my Bing Ads account and ruined everything.
One of the things I forgot to mention is that while Bing was stopping my campaign I was also being laid off at work. So my money kind of dried up. That meant I could not switch from Bing to someone else rapidly.
Anyway, that did not help.
But I took a job at regional research facility (they are famous but I don’t know if it is OK to say their name) so the cash problem is resolving itself, but I will still need to start slow. (Oh, I am not a researcher, I am just an entry level guy)
