Hey guys, I've been out of the SEO game for a little while.. So I'm a tad clueless, I've got a few questions:

What kind of links work post penguin?
What services do you recommend on BHW that work post penguin.

Many things still work, it's just a lot more dependent on velocity, quality and non over-optimisation. Keyword anchor text links are a big one - you'll want to avoid thousands of backlinks with just your keyword in them. Saying that, a lot of the services on BHW have already taken this on board and will diversify with generic URLS like "click here" or even just raw URLs.

A lot still walks man, just don't overdo it.

Avoid using anchor text with the same niche for both on page and off page instead of that use anchor text with your domain name, click here, know more, niche along with mixed words like if your keyword is hair fall anchor text should be hair fall treatment something like that.

Also focus on unique content that is another major critiria to save ourself from penguin.
