What´s wrong with GSC?

Hello guys,

Something is weird these last days, I don't use Yoast but I use All in one in one of my sites with XML Google sitemap. After updating all in one, they added a new feature that allow to create sitemaps. Two weeks after that I found that Google de-indexed more than a half of the website pages (more than 300)! I'm wondering if it's a plugin conflict or just Google playing with us ?

i had the same problem also, after check GSC it says the site blocked / redirect robots.txt
this problem fixed by downgrade to previous version

The 14.0.4 version says:

Fixed a bug where the meta values for "robots" were set to 0 instead of "null" due to a failure in the WP DB. This could result in incorrect values for noindex, nofollow, noarchive, noimageindex, and / or nosnippet. To purge the bad data, we need to re-cut our tables. This means that we have to go through the indexing process again. We are very sorry. For sites with more than 10,000 entries, we recommend using the WP CLI command to do the indexing on the server.

A lot of people are going from Yoast to Rank Math.

In the past they also made a big mistake with the atachments, creating a new page for each image that had been uploaded to the site.

Yoast devs fixed this issue. I have personally experienced problem with this plugin where the tag pages were automatically set to index even I have disabled this feature from the plugin dashboard. I contacted the support and they solved the problem and released a new update in approximately 15 minutes.Currently, everything works fine with this plugin.

Too many threads on the same topic from the last couple of days. Yes there is something going on with GSC
