What performs better: Posting Pins Or Videos On Pinterest?

Hello BHW Members

I would like to know which type of posts performs better on Pinterest: pins or videos, I'm planning on driving traffic to my affiliate/CPA offer landing page.

Also how long it takes before I start seeing some engagement?

I would appreciate it if you shared your experience, thank you.

Picture pins are more popular than videos, none of my videos get any impression's that worth the time put into them.

Several weeks to several months.

You may get lucky(which is rare) some pins start popping really early.

Is there any other thing I can do to make my posts more visible besides having a good niche and content, working on keywords and SEO or is it just post and wait to get lucky?

Pins work the best, at least for my accounts.
 
If you have the ability to make super high quality and interesting videos, as far as I'm concerned it's better to make them
 
Test both
In general Pinterest is an image social media, but it's possible that you will find success through videos
 
its good on picture pins. But i think it dependas
 
Well in my experience, videos quite blow up on pinterest. But I have almost zero clicks from them
