What path to take (Advice pls)

Hi All,

I'm looking for some advice to help guide me as to what path to invest my time into - my goal is to make an additional extra $1000 a month (over time) - a consistet extra 1000 essentially means I'm mortgage free. Life changing stuff (I'd argue)
Anyway - I would appreciate the input from those of you who are making money in a relevant sector and I guess to hear how hard it is. I work full-time. Have a kid etc so I'm time-poor. This is important.
Whatever route I take would ideally be (almost) passive income.

Considerations currently are:

Shopify & Ali-dropshipping - how are potential / likely earnings on this method?
Niche directory site and FB community
Niche web-design agency - would outsource the design for the most-part. I'd be getting leads and running ads.
Porn upload - not looked into it at all. Any help / guideance appreciated. Think I understand the concept.
YouTube Channel (Kids stuff) - seem to get crazy views but I understand this is down largely to a Russian network boosting ratings and taking 50% or so of your earnings.

Shopify & dropshipping - You need $1,000+ to get started. Same with Amazon FBA. I wouldn't do this unless you know what you're doing. Shopify can get time-consuming quickly, perfecting the store, importing the products, testing ads, finding influencers, etc.

Nice web-design agency - If you know what you're doing, sure. Not sure what profit would be since you'd be outsourcing the work + paying money for ads. Hopefully you can get leads for free.

Porn upload - I wouldn't do this if I had little to no time for a side income.

YouTube channel - You have to understand that Google Adsense doesn't pay a lot for kids channels, fo obvious reasons. I'm not sure how Russian networks work and how much they take, but I wouldn't do that type of work.

If I were you, I'd start with something simple. Learn a skill & monetize it. If you know a lot about SEO, you can offer your services to local businesses in exchange for monthly commision. Get 5-6 clients that will pay you /month and there you go.. you can easily pay off your mortgage.

Niche web agency - I have done websites in the past. Here I would be focusing on a particular niche and churning out WP sites that look the part but have minimal need for design tweaks.
Porn upload - would have thought alot of this (rip vids, upload to xvideos etc, stick an ad on there) could be automated - though I've not looked into the copyright end of it all. From what I can see on this forum the thought seems to be its an easy niche to make $$ in??
YouTube - I have to look into this more - but if you look on youtube at some of the 'playing with toys' type videos. Some lady or guy plays with peppa pig and covers the toy in slime or something and it gets 9,000,000 in a couple of weeks. Either these videos are insanely popular or something fishy is happening. It was mentioned on this forum or another that there is a Russian network providing 'views' in exchange for a % of revenue from videos.

Have considered SEO in the past though I would probably outsource that to a whitelabel agency and I put a mark-up on it.

I do understand what you're trying to say but you have to understand that 9,000,000 views on an kids channel/kids related video, isn't the same as 9,000,000 views in tech or finance niche.

Advertisers are rarely going to pay for ads that are put on kids channels, most kids simply just skip them and move on to watching their cartoon. Payout per 1,000 views is going to be extremely low.

However, if you want to get into other niches, then go ahead. Tech, finance, cryptocurrency, Shopify, are all very popular niches in which, if your video gets viral, you can make a decent amount of money. From Amazon affiliate links in the description, apparel, course/mentorship, coaching, etc, all of that could bring you an extra passive income from your YouTube channel.

With kids channels, those things are impossible to do. Maybe 1 in 10,000 kids are going to click the "see more" for the description, let alone read the entire thing or click any links.

Launch your own digital product. It's definitely not the easiest route as you need to have knowledge about almost every single Online-Marketing process but it's worth the initial time investment and leads to a almost completely 100% passivce income. At the end of the day support is the only time investement which you can outsource easily tbh. That doesn't mean that your ideas can't be implemented, I just want to provide you a way which always worked for almost everyone since the beginning of the internet and it grows bigger and bigger and bigger.

Well to answer your question, I'm not sure about the web agency or fb communities, as I have no experience with that.

Dropshipping, in my experience, is no passive income, especially if you get a little bigger. You'll have to deal with ads ( for which you should have enough money to start, i'd say at least $2-3k in order to have the ability to test as much as you can ), customer service, constant product research etc. You can, of course, outsource once you have the capital, but you need to grow large enough for that to be profitable.

Porn is competitive, and with all those stories of account banning, it doesn't seem to be very passive either. And working with porn is... just distracting lol.

In my opinion, as much as it is comforting to have someone tell you what to do, there's literally 0 evidence and 0 guarantees that wherever you invest your time/money, you're gonna succeed. Every method works and every method doesn't. Whichever it is, is entirely up to you and how you go about it, and I'd say if your plan to stick with it over the long time, you should pick something that you'll enjoy doing for an extended period of time. Otherwise, you'll just procrastinate. Because it's really tough to do a full time job and a side business, and especially in the beginning, as you may already know, it will take a lot of time and effort.

Otherwise, I'm interested in your long term goals. Why only $1k a month instead of trying to replace your job with your own venture? Curious.

I'd agree the $/1000 would be much lower - though you're bound to make something from 10,000,000 views (those that are getting that and more) - maybe the money there is in working directly with Toy companies (or whatever) to display and use their toys?

) my kids likes it, I can't stand it but they uploaded a video 8 hours ago (as of this post) and it has 1.1M views. Something unnatural is going on there.

Yeah the dropshipping one could be more hands on that I'd want it to be, and to be honest, I don't have 2k to roll a dice on a store. I have / do watch some of Alex Beckers stuff and find it tempting (though I'm well aware of his Frank-Kern-school-of-persuassion style tricks) - I'm also dubious as to the legitimacy of the claims (this guy made $90,000 in the first month of his store - really? Ok, but what was his PROFIT etc)

Right now, I suppose I'm at a feasibility-crossroads - trying to determine when stream will tick the boxes of profitability, ease of management and not be too time intensive.

Long terms goals? I probably need to solidify those to be frank. But medium term would be to have something that runs with minimal input from me - provides me with enough to cover the mortgage (at least). I like to set achieveable goals I guess. My job is secure, its in an area I like to work in but my bills are high so need / want extra income.

Long term, with extra income I can then use other money to invest in other things. Partner in a business or franchise type thing.

What a question. I can testify about myself that the niche is not something that I was planned, I tried so many things and made money with
multiple methods but the niche that you will work with should be like falling in love. I mean, I saw a business in a specific niche and I bought his services; somehow I knew that this is my path even before I start working on it. (No, it's not porn)

Last video was 2 days ago - 4.1M views.
They're definitely making $$$$ off these as they're not doing them for fun surely.
They have a website on their About section - its garbage.
The domain associated with their email address ( treasure something .com) is a GoDaddy parked domain.
A video from 2 months ago 296M views (thats not a type-o)
