I assume they are not on page 1?
Get all the backlinks from the companies that come up in the top.
I haven't even started working on the website. As I really can't decide where to get links from.
I can try Home improvement sites, would that be a good idea ?
1st page is full with either competitor or listing sites similar to yelp.
I checked the keywords, it's not very competitive.
I did some competitor research, they seem to get links from general sites. Which I can do as well.
But I was hoping someone here can help me with the niche.

The exact niche for packers and movers is not really home improvement, but what i said above: household relocation, household moving, home moving. Those are more precise. Packers and movers might be used in the process to move things from A to B, so indirectly they have something to do with home improvement. Just look at the article on Wikipedia, it doesn't cover what you're after at all.
