What methods have you actually made money from?

I have been selling on facebook for 2 years and now it is okay for me

Well, the edge is in the blackhat stuff, man. Anyone can do whitehat stuff, but the true edge lies in blackhat techniques. The advantage over others is what makes the competition nothing but a walk on the park. Though, that doesn't mean you don't have to grind. To make it big you have to grind, but going blackhat makes it a lot easier. ;)

Well, you make it sound exactly like it's a walk in a park, as if only grinding is all it takes. But then, what is that "grinding" that you are referring to? I mean, this word gets thrown all over the place like it is some magical ingredient to success, yet it has no substance.

Let's say I'm a novice to the whole IM stuff ( which I truly consider myself to be ) and I want to start making money online. I keep seeing these "gurus" or whatever telling me create a website o a topic o passion, throw some super high quality, content-rich articles that are SEO optimized, build some links and social profiles and voilà - I got myself a business. However, like probably 99% of the members here, my efforts amount to zero and I'm left hanging with my super special awesome website which makes a grand total of zero dollars. Exactly what's there to grind on ? Where do I get that magical blackhat edge over other gazillion of same websites? And I'm in no way of being sarcastic here, I am indeed, clueless as to how things work anymore. Cause you make it sound so easy, yet I either can't see how it's easy or I see it in a way more complicated way than it actually is. So the question is - where do I look or how do I compete? Where's is the line between blackhat and down right illegal?

I'd appreciate your thoughts :)

I've worked more than a month and I wouldn't be making this thread if I had given up. I've made authority niche sites, paid cpa, kindle publishing, cold emailing, dropshipping and affiliate sites. but none of them was worth it in the end.
Only method which I think was worth the effort was launch jacking.

Where did you do launch jacking and why did you give it up? I have made money using this method as well.

I made a shit ton of money with Altavista + Amazon

I made a script that worked like this:

example.com/ASIN/amazoncodehere

Whenever anyone accessed that, the script would request the same ASIN page from Amazon while switching every link in the page to my link with the referral code. It only requested the page once, saving it on disk so the next time it was instant.

Altavista indexed 1 million pages and suddenly I was selling more books than Barnes and Noble.

Amazon then requested I remove their branding from my pages (they were exact copies of Amazon). I changed the script so it would change the logo to my own and some more CSS changes.

You can still use this method with a bunch of sites today. I don't do this anymore, I was young and reckless back then.

This method lasted for about a year before Altavista wrecked me. Good times.

By far the most interesting post in the thread. Legendary! Thanks to the OP for taking all the heat for the rest of us.

OP ignore all the stuff about not being cut out for IM. I've made several six figures the past 10 years and now I'm back at ground zero looking for what is working today on these threads. Count your blessings because anything can end in an instant and almost always does.

Here´s my 2 cents regarding this.

I have made money with following methods:

- Google ads / Facebook ads setup.
- Building websites
- Tracking with tag manager/analytics/fb pixel
- Reports (data studio)

I'd appreciate your thoughts :)

Well, my thoughts and methods, can't be shared here due to the TOS.

But, my point is there is always an edge you can have over your competition, which sometimes requires shady tactics to become easy.

There are TONS of ways, angles or ways to crack a system and make money out of it. Like, for example, SEO it's extremely competitive and even though you may have an edge, you are going to struggle. There are tons of other ways to make LOTS of money online.

I was going to post here in bhw a few methods, but unfortunately, they break the site's TOS.

Now, obviously, when you an edge over your competition, suddenly you go from struggling to thriving and you make lots of money without much effort.

As always, it's TOUGH finding those edges, but when you get one, either by skill or luck (or sometimes both), you will find yourself thriving in the online world.

If you do what any other average joe suggests to do, you will find yourself struggling. Everything is in finding that edge, exploit it to the max and make tons of money.

I can't go in details, but it's all about finding those tiny, but game-changing edges.

Also, it doesn't have to be on seo, there are plenty of ways online to make TONS of money.

What a plenty of ways? Market is changed. SEO is dead for people which has no money to start. There are a lot of competition. Everybody has mobile, pc, laptop and can learn technical staff. It create the competition.

do you actually stream the movie? how do you monetize it? am interested to know. Thanks
I deleted because I was scary about the new copyright law in Europe (I'm from Europe, spain and I almost all the users where from spain/) so I closed the site. I monetize with CPA networks and all my movies where uploaded to openload so I was taking money from the views and CPA . If you want more info and some info about scrapping PM me I can help you
