What methods have you actually made money from?

I made money with

- affiliate marketing
- Teespring (when it was hot)
- Etsy (POD)
- CPA marketing
- Android Apps
- Freelancing - worked as a Facebook Ads manager

I had major success with freelancing and Print on Demand.

I haven't become rich off IM yet myself, but I have learned methods of making money from my own failures. If you think about it, everyone you have paid in an attempt to build your online empire is making money off of you - and I think about their motive and possible profit margins that they earn from me each time.

I have been successful with YouTube, but that's because I had 10 failed channels over 10 years and learned a lot from my mistakes. Now I am selling YouTube consulting services for $600 a pop. I normally reinvest all of my profits back into my shenanigans, so there isn't a clear "wow I made a ton of money", per say.

I think you're onto something there. Although I'm not willing to try some of the methods of some "fake it til you make it" marketers out there but just looking at what you are paying for and thinking about whether you could offer such a service and even improve on it would help greatly.

In regards to this thread, I used to obtain free in-game currency by excelling in the surveys they offered and sold the in-game currency to the community for 50% off.

Writing articles. made 100 bucks writing 50 articles. spent half the money curing a back ache and the other half for electricity and internet. So, I am that unsuccessful IM but still trying

I don't make money too. And I don't see any difference between blackhat and whitehat. They all the same, because of a competition. Social networks changes, seo changes. Now it's impossible to get traffic from google. Adsense become harder and pay less. I think main problem is poor English.

I made money from tshirt business. I designed shirts for a niche put them on teezily and promoted with facebook ads.

Its not that the methods dont work it is the only methods people share are ones that do not work. There are lots of us on here making a lot of money but ask yourself if you had a good method that was making you good money would you come on a high traffic forum and post the method so it got saturated or stopped working due to over use? This is a business where knowledge is what holds the value and after 20 years in this business I have seen it get progressively worse about people wanting something for nothing. People with good methods are not going to share them for free and you get what you pay for so if you really want to make money do some work and save some money and find a good websites or method that is for sale that is proven and making money instead of just looking for cheap free info.

How do you know if that method is good? Why it is selling? How do you find out prove that the selling method is works?

I am making good money doing the old tried-and-true Amazon niche sites. There's a lot of garbage blogs out there so it's really not too hard to stand out from the competition.

My best source of online money is the writing I've done and books published on Amazon Kindle. Its not really passive income as most books drop in sales as time goes by, but I'm still making a couple of hundred bucks a month on books I wrote 7 years ago.

The most money I made in affiliate marketing was on an authority site I built 5 years ago. It was doing great with income increasing every month and then the panda/penguin updates struck. That ended that. I'm still doing affiliate marketing but publishing on Kindle is my most consistent money maker.

There are hundreds of methods in this forum but none of them work that well. People say that you should change the methods a bit and add your own twists to it. You should get creative with journeys posted in this forum or so. You should stop reading and start trying. The thing is almost none of those journeys reach a happy end. I've tried various methods anyway but I've discovered that CPA and earning from ads isn't worth it at all. There's no such thing as spoon-feeding in giving advice. Knowledge without action doesn't have value. I'm not asking for money nor your secrets. Is there a method that you tried which made you money no matter how small it is? If so how much have you made from it?

The best ones are the ones you find yourself and are not saturated. SEO is competitive, but get the job done.

My point being is that I don't see IM as passive income, considering how competitive everything is and how quickly everything can go to shit. If you're not prepared to sacrifice something in order to make it, you don't deserve it.

Well, the edge is in the blackhat stuff, man. Anyone can do whitehat stuff, but the true edge lies in blackhat techniques. The advantage over others is what makes the competition nothing but a walk on the park. Though, that doesn't mean you don't have to grind. To make it big you have to grind, but going blackhat makes it a lot easier. ;)

Pinterest is my Personal Favourite and I have started earning from it.

Now, there are really 3 ways to make money on Pinterest.

  1. Affiliate Marketing on Pinterest
  2. Becoming a Pinterest Virtual Assistant
  3. Pinterest Influencer
Affiliate Marketing on Pinterest:

Many refer to Pinterest as a social network however, I along with many others think of it more like a search engine. Not only that, Pinterest is amongst one of the only social platforms out there where you can use your affiliate links which makes it the perfect place to leverage affiliate marketing on.

I am going to make this a brief answer, I will share a full guide you can read which will explain how to properly do this and start making money and grow your Pinterest as well.

Step 1: Find A Profitable Niche

You want to find a profitable niche because if you don't have the right niche you won’t make any money. The way you do this is by finding out what gets a lot of repins on Pinterest and work around from there.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Create your account around that niche, create and optimize your description for keywords, create 10 boards, start repinning at least 20 pins from others which are relating to the board.

Step 3: Sign up For Affiliate Networks

Sign up for as many affiliate networks as possible. Affiliate networks are essentially networks where affiliates can sign up and they tend to provide a plethora of affiliate offers.

Step 4: Create A Pin With Your Bridge Page

Now, you want to create a pin and paste the Bridge Page link which the affiliate network provided in the destination link section. Then write a keyword optimized description and put a good image of that product.

Now you just want to grow your account, get more followers, get more monthly visitors and create more affiliate pins.

The grind never stops. Wake up in the morning to grind the coffee before I grind the weed up and grind my gears into work mode.

I made a shit ton of money with Altavista + Amazon

I made a script that worked like this:

example.com/ASIN/amazoncodehere

Whenever anyone accessed that, the script would request the same ASIN page from Amazon while switching every link in the page to my link with the referral code. It only requested the page once, saving it on disk so the next time it was instant.

Altavista indexed 1 million pages and suddenly I was selling more books than Barnes and Noble.

Amazon then requested I remove their branding from my pages (they were exact copies of Amazon). I changed the script so it would change the logo to my own and some more CSS changes.

You can still use this method with a bunch of sites today. I don't do this anymore, I was young and reckless back then.

This method lasted for about a year before Altavista wrecked me. Good times.

Early days of splogs, but with a twist :D

How many of methods have you tried and for How long? Did you just worked one month and give up.
Youtube worked for me, without even making a single original video.
Now I am trying my hands on authority niche site.

Edit: I made few bucks from app reskinning too, stopped cause my developer account got banned, will try again in future
How mate?
Teach me :)
