Not sure to say what their intentions are but I immediately spotted a few red flags:
He contacts you unasked which is spammy behaviour
He claims he has been banned from Upwork which indicates this person engages in fraudulent activities
He asks you to do something against their policies and I assume you need to verify on Upwork so you could put yourself at risk too.
Promise of easy money (if it sounds too good to be true it probably is)
And biggest red flag is all this person is asking for remote access to your computer. I have seen scams like this where a simple example is they change values of certain things like balance with inspect element to deceive you and such.
