What is your view on CPA Network?

I recently discovered that CPA network are taking as much as 40%-50% of my earnings. (this is excluding the shaving). I tried one offer that I did really well and made USD800 from that offer within a week. Out of curiosity I went direct to the Sponsor of this campaign. They have an affiliate application thus I decided to look at their commission payout. They are paying USD$5 per lead generated whereas my CPA network is giving me only USD$2.25 per lead generated. I wrote an email to the sponsor asking if they can do weekly payout. The sponsor reply that it will be possible as long as I generate revenue of USD$500 per week. In this case, I really have no ideal what types of benefits my CPA network is adding to me that deserves them the large amount of payout USD$2.75 (USD$5- [email protected]) simply through leveraging on my efforts.

Another matter that shock me was that most of these CPA network just go out to the web and search for whatever affiliate program that they can find and offer to marketers like us. CPA network does not seems to value add to publisher nor advertiser. CPA network ultimately will still reply upon Advertiser fraud detection system to detect fraudulent leads. The so call in house fraud detection from CPA network in this case is not useful at all. Lastly I also discover that most of the offers from CPA network, you can actually approach the sponsor directly and apply through them directly to make money at higher commission

What is your view on this? Do you think that CPA network is able to benefit you?

Hi Abhi007, I do not want to pinpoint the Network as they are running a business. Some of the owners of these network are also members in this forum. Don't want to offend anyone. I am just seeking out opinions and views. Also at the same time, to give these Network a thought while reading this message of mine. Hopefully they can think of a way to innovate their business model as most of the Sponsor are willing to accept direct affiliates application and there is no secret on their commission payment plan.

CPA network have to innovate themselves and to help affiliate generate traffics so that they can value add to both publisher and Sponsor. Presently, I am seeing CPA network sitting there doing nothing, some of these CPA network cannot claim that they are working hard to get more sponsors as these sponsors are accepting direct affiliate. I am referring to Networks without own products nor exclusive tie up with sponsors. (Clickbank, Commission Junction and other similar model are not my target in this conversation.)
