It is VERY good. The code efficiency is unbelievable. Pricing is phenomenal as well. Better functionality compared to Elementor, in my opinion.... oxygen releases functions and the other builders add them many months later

I love oxygen builders' proposition. Having to pay once and use it on unlimited sites is amazing but on a business level, how are they going to sustain the business and update the plugin when there is no longer substantial amount of sales?
Most softwares that don't follow the subscription model end up being abandoned when sales eventually tank.
That's my only concern about it.
 
None, I have a huge amount of content and prefer fast load times.
 
What about Thrive Architect? Doesn't it count as a page builder, OP? I have been using it since 2017 and haven't seen anything particulaly bad with it.
 
I used Guterberg for my website and so far I don't have any problem.
 
Using Elementor Pro for the personal website without any issues, Hated WP Bakery Visual Builder

Exactly that, so many people bash on page builders for having useless markup or slow loading speed.
While loading speed issues might have been true in the early days it's absolutely not right now.

What's the problem with having a bit extra markup?
If you know how to optimize everything you can still get amazing load speeds while enjoying the benefits of working way faster.
Ever since I dived deep into elementor and combined it with my previous knowledge I can work like 5x faster.

TTFB is below 200 MS, once I finish optimizations full load speed will be below 2 sec.

For people that still do everything manually, try playing around for a couple of days with page builder.
 
i'd love to use oxygen its very customization, but for a project i preffer use elementor its simple & do not take much time :)
Maybe oxygen will good someday (now still look buggy for me) not recomended to who dont know basic css,html :)
 
Oxygen builder is the best now that someone made an undo button plugin.

I have used both too. IMO, Elementor is better and has more extensions. (Paid and free).
 
Elementor pro...it's offered many professional templates and blocks...

Divi one love. I like its constant evolution, now 4th update brings even more features

I haven't tried elementor but when I made attempt to work with WP Bakery the result was 3 or 4 times more markup than I'd use. My clients pay for outstanding results and perdormance so it's not a problem to invest even 5x more time.

It's fine to use a good, lightweight theme like GP instead of coding everything from the beginning in order to speed up the work a bit but adding markup, CSS and JS that may be easily avoided is not a good idea since Google are weird about speed.

Well first, theme... if you are planning on doing a lot of customizations and elements creation ditch the themes and use hello theme from Elementor.
If you are going to have more than 1 addon for elementor (element pack, the plus addons, etc.) make sure to disable widgets that you aren't using.
A lot of those widgets add on more and more css and js files, I personally stick with only one, the plus add-ons.

90% of plugins (small ones, not multi-packs like those mentioned earlier) for elementor you can recreate yourself with a bit of imagination & googling.
Other than that the rest of optimization goes as for any other WP website, personally I love using litespeed server with litespeed cache plugin and autoptimize.
I'm using autoptimize because even though LS plugin has those functions, after testing autoptimize proved much better for my current setup.

Looking at it like that yes, you are right. In my case because of elementor I've increased my hourly rate by 50% with my continuous clients while keeping them happy.
