What is White hat SEO? [Confused]

white hat seo is easy to do.
You use adwords, advertisements, and etc to promote your website. When some blogger or someone sees that your site is good, you will get a link. That is it.

I actually really got to thinking into how I'd separate White hat and Black hat.

I believe that White Hat is for marketing your own interests. Things you actually love doing, so you naturally want to share them without spamming people like you. For instance, bikers who target other bikers with products they actually use; bicycles, how-to bike articles, ect. Not necessarily reaching for the niche with the highest payback.

Whereas, Black Hat is purely got the payment aspect. Always searching for the perfect niche to maximize profits. These are the people you see spamming chatrooms with personals websites, for example.

There is also what I consider myself, Grey Hat. We do both. We have a love for our White Hat side, selling to people like us. However, we also let our other side out. We search like the Black Hatters for ways to make the most money and the best niche. We love money too! But we also spend a lot of time working on our beloved websites for Biking gear in between hitting the trails and maximizing our income potential.
 
Maintain a standard of journalism by creating posts with added value that are relevant to your audience.
 
White Hat SEO is another term for slow and boring.
 
White Hat SEO is simply the concept - build it and they will come. You make a website around a topic, and according to Google, people share content on their blogs, social network accounts etc. So if your content is the best, it will be mentioned the most times online, and get picked up by google. You can't DO white hat SEO simply because white hat means natural, it doesn't require any offsite interaction on your part whatsoever.

Black hat SEO is used in attempt to make money quicker. White hat SEO is used for longer lasting success.

Black hat SEO is a "flash in the pan." White hat SEO is more reliable, less risk, less having to freak out every time a new Google zoo animal is released because you're already doing it right.

White hat SEO is for people who care about branding. If you want to make the right impact with your target audience, you don't buy links or publish spam/low quality content in an attempt to rank higher & quicker. When you care about brand engagement, it might take longer to get a higher position in search results but it doesn't matter because SEO isn't everythinf about marketing a business, or generating a profit.

The way I see is that blackhat SEO is any form of SEO that manipulates Google?s algorithm to rank higher without adding any additional value to the searcher. Search engines are designed to bring the most relevant websites for what the searcher looks for. Google then uses its algorithm to filter through all the websites and list them according to what they believe would be most useful to the searcher.

However, marketers recognizing the value of ranking number 1 on Google for certain keywords, begin to try and find ways to rank higher, even if they didn?t completely deserve that spot.

In a perfect world, interesting, informative, and useful websites would be number 1 on Google. This is how Google designed it. However, marketers who want the position for themselves for their own purposes manipulate their way to the top even if their websites lack good content (interesting, informative, etc)

Hence SEO was born. SEO is a way to manipulate Google?s algorithm to rank higher on the SERPS. This involves creating backlinks through social bookmarking, article directory submission, etc. This process replicates a natural growth that a website should develop by itself if its content is good. However a lot of times the content is not good enough to develop backlinks naturally so marketers use SEO to accomplish this task.
Google doesn?t like this because it wants the searcher to find the best quality websites at the top, not websites that used good SEO to get there. Therefore Google continues to update its algorithm to discourage this behavior.

So back to your question what is black SEO? My answer is any SEO that doesn?t add value to the searcher but instead manipulates the algorithm to rank higher when it is clearly undeserving of that position.

In its purest form white hat is a G00gle fantasy world. You build a great website with no intention of getting rankings, only to deliver great content. Then many people link to it because it is such great content.

That's the fantasy part. How often do you link to great content because it is great, from your money site. Maybe you do a few links to authority sites that do not compete with you in the SERPS.

In practice I think white hat is getting ranked in ways that are least likely to piss G00gle off. I think of it as the longest lasting SEO.

But the reality is that G00gle rewards things it says you should not be doing, at least until the next monochromatic animal update happens. Then it will be rewarding something else it is saying not to do.
 
And IF u Want Detailed answer so here it is :

  • Being an honest business person is a good thing. Hinging your marketing on ethics is a blatant display of desperation.
  • The goal of the SEO is to get the clients site to rank better for relevant search phrases to spread messages or create sales.
  • No matter what the SEO, search engines, or clients say: the SEO should put the client ahead of the search engines.
  • Certain methods are more risky than others and most sites do not need to be promoted via exceptionally risky methods.
  • Some SEOs are too aggressive, many other SEOs take money and do little work for their pay. You should research before spending money on SEO.
  • The ethical tag is a marketing idea used by:
    • people who are new to SEO and rather ignorant; or
    • unoriginal marketers who are severely lacking in creativity.
  • Since a search engine is a tool its not something you can spam.
 
Here's how to distinguish between white hat and black hat and grey hat.

White hat: Unique Articles just write original articles.
Black hat: Article Spinning without any efforts to even correct the grammar and stuff in short they spam the shit out of Google. Haha
Grey Hat: They do article spinning but they make it look like it's unique. They are lazy but at least they put effort into making their articles look unique. (A little bit of White and Black = Grey)
