What is this login limit exceeded!

I've been using tumblr for over a month now and never come across this, (please don't shoot me if this has been around for a long time),

I've been trying to use a few bots to follow and queue post today,and just recently I've been getting this message when I log in

"Login limit exceeded - Please wait one hour before trying to log in again"

I've tried using a VPN and kind of works,but for every tumblr I log out,and then login to another tumblr the message pops up again, I don't know if my computer is leaving footprints and if it is how do I sort that out.
I'm kind of worried that my accounts might get banned or something.Anyone has come across this,any tips would be helpful?

Cookies Maybe try to refresh browser history etc... or may be they record by accounts login per hour kind!

Yeh I thought it would be to do with cookies aswel, I cleared all my cookies and browsing history but i still have the same problem, I don't think its an account login because I've only logged in once on each account today,I'm using the elite version of hotspot shield and when I turn of the shield then turn it back on to login to another tumblr it seems to do the job, but I'm worried that my accounts might get suspended. don't know if I should just leave them alone for a few days or something. Thanks for the advice,appreciate it...

OP, did you ever find out more info? What is the maximum logins that we can do?
