What is the most effective link building method?

guest posts and niche edits usually do the trick. Personally, niche edits have worked better with me because you don't have to worry about indexing or if the blog will bring in decent juice. This is because you're adding a link to an already established, aged post meaning you can see the metrics before you even consider getting the backlink.

Hi, I am a beginner in link building, I am looking for the most effective link building methods, because I have heard that many link building methods are no longer as effective, please guide those who have experience.
Thanks.
Hello,
Since you are a beginner, you can start with content creation and outreach, guest posts, broken link building, and other link building methods like forum bookmarking, link through blog comment, etc.

Guest posting always was, and always will be one of the most effective link-building strategies. Besides, fixing broken links, connecting with others, putting links in your paid campaigns, creating and placing link banners across various digital platforms are also very useful tactics when proceeded properly.

The biggest problem I find on BHW is finding any decent PBN seller.

Tried samples from many but it's like most have not updated to the latest demands from Google and instead running a site that is bound to get you penalized or will simply get ignored (with a high chance of the PBN post not even getting indexed).

web 2.0, PBN and high traffic guest posts are the most effective link building method.

If budget is not an issue, go with Guest posting. if you are short on a budget, try PBNs, Spun posts. these will help, but remember they are short-lived. So choose wisely to save your money and Time.

Placing your link on the high authority page is always a good and effective method. The broken link replacement method helps to boost up the page that you linked.

Something that webmasters commonly use is guest posting but you will have to spend a good amount for this.

PBN is risky as it goes against google's rules
So do pretty much any other unnatural link building methods.

many guest post and niche edits sold are basically link farms…A public PNB that looks more risky than a legit well built PBN.

in my opinion a good and truly private pbn carry a fairly low risk and they can hide in plain sight.

You can try Forum posting, Guest posts and PBNs. Whereas guest posts and PBNs are the most effective way.

I do not understand why most people recommends quest posts.
Explain me why are they valuable for SEO :)

In my opinion, if you get link from some domain inner page (in this case - quest post) - it is useless for SEO, unless:

1. That inner page has backlinks from other sites and can transfer link juice to your link.
2. That inner page has link from domain's root and that way has some link juice to transfer to your link.

In 99,99% quest posts you will not get these two above.

HEY! We don't use our brains here ! we just repeat popular opinions again and again

Give this man a ban !

On a serious note, google doesn't have a clue about the backlinks category mentioned in the thread.

Best backlink is the one with the biggest amount of backlinks and least amount of outer links where biggest means number and quality. And quality means backlins to outer links ratio applied indefinitely

And there is a booster called relevance. It multiplies your backlink power and also applied indefinitely on anchor, post, category and domain scale.

This should give a detailed idea on how to compare backlinks powers. The hard truth, its really hard to acuire those, and very costly.. this is why people choose to take the easy route of buying orphan pages backlinks where no one really links to them and they link to gazillion of pages.

Final important detail, is you got a page rank, and the one with higher page rank ranks better. So, you might have 10 spammy blog comments and rank first, because simply your competitors doesn't. Then a case study would apear about how blog comments are great and thousands of marketplace posts will be built around it.

Then people will try it for harder keyword which will be less effective, and then google killed the blog comments.

That is it, easy to know, extremely hard to apply unless you got the cash or the relations.

My most effective strategy for link building is using scrape box to identify URLs with the keywords that I need in them. I then use the ahrefs batch tool to categorize the list showing the highest Domain rating first. Afterwards, my virtual assistant will extract emails and provide outreach on my behalf, using my business email. This method identifies real value at incredible prices.

I have found that I get far better results by utilizing high-quality web2.0s, guest posts, niche edits, and my own PBN network. All you have to do is publish on high-quality websites and it will take care of the rest. There's nothing difficult about link building.
