I have to say, that Patchstack did not stop the last hack I received but Blackbeard Wordfence did.
I have some Patchstack licenses for a couple of sites, but I cannot trust them 100%
BBQ and Blackhole are the better lighttweight option to stop bots and have a firewall in place. I choose Blackbeard Wordfence just because it's an AIO plugin and I don't want to keep it lean, and it includes, login protection, firewall, monitoring of admin file mods but it doesnt have a honeypot.
I have never heard of FluentAuth, but I understand that this is useful if you hold a community with WP or you have multiple people login regularly.

I use it mostly with my regular sites, it has a great set of functions that otherwise replace a number of plugins in one very light plugin. It is a really good plugin. And yes, the magic login links are a great feature for communities and multiuser platforms, it also makes sure to protect against multiple users login on accounts since mostly only one person got access to the email the account was registred with, prevents sharing accounts.
