In your opinion, what is the best WordPress security plugin with a user-friendly interface, lightweight, and has free version? How long have you been using it and why?

I haven't used anything other than wordfence so that's a good choice according to me.
 
Try Defender Security.
I love this one because it masks my wp login.
I found many spammers tried to login my wp and post spam shits, but since i installed this plugin,
this never happened again.

I have used Wordfense in the past. But I think Sukuri is also one of the best options available in the market.

And for site scan wordfence (uninstall it after scan you don't want both)
 
Wordfense is a good security plugin.
 
If free I choose WordFence security.
But I always use ithemes security. It has everything you need.
 
Wordfence security, because it offers advance security features in its premium version such as country blocking, scheduled scanning, advanced firewall rules and more.
 
I use Wordfence, and it seems to work well for me.
