What is the best software for video editing?

Use Adobe Premiere and VEGAS Pro for basic video editing (these are my personal favorites, easy to learn yet very powerful). Then after you get good at these two, learn After Effects (used for more complex editing like special effects etc...)

I just started youtube, I don't know what software to use to do it. I took a look at Adobe but it took too long to learn from scratch. Hope there is a software with many effects that are simple and easy to use.

I will suggest you for Filmora, if you are a beginner. Because this software is best for beginner. Here are so many feather and so many easy to use for beginner. I have used many editing software but i am feeling with Filmora. So from my experience i suggest you for that.

Thank's

Davinci resolve. Premire pro is also an option buts its expensive and adobe is a scummy company and not getting into their "ecosystem" is a gain in the long run. Most if not all of the other options are really really bad, Filmora wont take you very far camtasia isnt very great, blender just isnt good for video editing (great for other things just the built in video editor is really really lacking), IMovie is apple exclusive, and windows movie maker isnt even supported anymore. Resolve is used in big studios. Tried and true and the free version is great!

If you want free but can render good I suggest VSDC editor

If you are a just starting Filmora, Movavi, Powerdirector are the best and easy to use

For low cost video editing, I prefer Filmora which contains large number of handy build in titles, effects and also free sound effects. it can also available in free version which contains all full features in paid one.
For For best free editing, I will go for Blender Which fulfill most of our video needs and also flexible one.

Go blender if you want a slow workflow and alot of confusion.
