What procedure you guys follow to update your content? I am a newbie and from self-research, I personally decided to follow this procedure which is definitely not tested.
Put the main keyword into ahref and see ranking pages in SERPs for that keyword
Consider relevant pages from SERP which are obviously your competitors (i.e ignore reviews if you are providing services. Just consider pages providing the same service as you)
Check those competitors' keywords and traffic in ahref. Usually, pages with more keywords show high traffic.
Pick the best one with the most traffic and most keywords and simply export all keywords for that page and give it to the writer to update content based on these keywords.
Its totally based on research and not implemented yet. How this can be effected according to you guys practical and result-driven research? I will be happy to know how you guys follow the procedure to update the content. Thanks and regards
