Agreed. If you are striving for longevity with your site, then go with the manual process for Tier 1. I find that scraping for powerful expired Web 2.0s works wonders for authority building. Sprinkle some more diversity into the mix such as social signals, guest posting and PR articles.... and Voila! You have a hell of a tier 1 foundation. Now Tier 2 and 3 can be injected by either RankerX/GSA.
