The purpose of all wars, is peace?

What you guys think about it?!

I’ve seen this meme in a few self righteous pseudo hippie groups so I’ll try to make you understand. Imagine you’re smoking your weed and the next door neighbour walks in on your farm and asks for his ‘fair’ share of greens and you’re too high to be anything but kind so you give him some. He keeps doing this over and over and one day he decides to take without asking. Now you’re without a single leaf and you walk over to his house and demand he gives back what he took or pay up. He puts a gun in your mouth and asks you to fuck off.

Replace the weed with food, water, money and other resources and you should basically have an explanation.

It’s easy to sit on a high horse and look down on the deranged ‘mad’ men fighting until the fight’s brought to you.

I've been on this earth for quite a while now, and yet, i haven't seen anyone to truly crave for peace(even when there was war)

It is true that our nature is about the way we perceive:

1. Crave food when you're hungry
2. "I want sun" when there's rain.
3. Some rain would be nice "too much sun"

And so on..

But what truly war is? War is a battle that "WE" as the population have nothing to say about - it's always about the people in control and how they decide it to be. Don t get me wrong, those people that control are also being controlled(Let's not get to deep where we might argue for nothing) BUT, the point is - War is just the weapon of control.

War brought way too many deaths, changed people... for what? For the sake of the fat pigs leading -_- and let me tell you some more: True peace cannot be achieved right now.

The people have gone in the wrong way "nowadays" the so-called "evolution" isn't an actual evolution, is more like our brain got smaller and we can only exist by using certain tools: Phone, tablet, pc, SO MANYY.

When will peace be achievable? When we all die. Why? Because we're the poison!

Peace & War.

Is it the follow up book to War & Peace?

That meme reminds me of the weed packet I threw away a few days back. :'(

Most wars are started to increase wealth, some are started to increase wealth for the sovereign with the promise of getting paid and laid for the soldiers. There's no peace in any of them.

To me , I've seen the US invade tons of countries to plunder their resources , under false reasons.

You'd grow up on biblical/Confucius teachings and after observing the world around you and realize that Machiavelli was right after all.

nothing much lol , military people cant joke ? i think also can so i think its normal.

You know what bro, I actually loved his book " The Prince" , it was a pretty good read, painfully realistic and not sugar coated , that's why I liked it.

Exactly, but I grew up getting taught that he lacks morality and whatnot...guess things haven't really changed much right, gotta be an inner Machiavellian and sugarcoat it like [POTUS].

I'd like to chime in on this :)

Peace is ultimately surrendering your will. Think about that deeply for a minute. Welcome back. We often think of surrender as a negative thing, but it's not. Surrendering your will to a greater will is the very definition of peace. It's the ultimate peace (we were made for).

War is anything that opposes this greater will (or in everyday life, war occurs between people (on the small scale) to countries (on a larger scale) or ideologies because of this conflict in assertion of wills and whose will shall dominate. Everyone will claim that if their will dominates (after the war) there will be peace.

Sorry, I don't think I'm allowed to get more specific because it will lead into something I've been told is not allowed to be discussed on these boards due to people's sensitivities, so I will refrain from saying more, but you can always message me inbox and perhaps I can unpack this more.
