This is tempting me to run scrapebox on my money sites. In the future for new niches, I shall build 2 almost identical sites for each niche. One site will have semi-white backlinks like blog network and web 2.0, and the other site will have forum profiles, scrapebox and other blackhats links. You never know what the panda might like .

Only just one of my websites is touched, drop of 90% of traffic, drop of 10-20 place in google search. But this website is badly linked.

All others with good links and amazon is ok, no change or in a better position.

It's really tough to figure out what to do right now. I don't know if I should do more backlinks of any particular kind or what.

I have sites that stayed the same, others moved 2-5 spots, others dropped like 10+ spots, some have totally disappeared, and some have moved up a few spots. The only 1 or 2 sites that have moved up have least amount of content and no recent backlinks. The ones that have content recently added to them and had constant backlinks pointed to them dropped the most. Go figure.

Google made panda so you can feel what the other guy felt when you took the #1 rank from him.

That hit for all of the keywords was really a depressive experience...

Is anyone else seeing things go back to normal a little more? Yesterday I was at 75% of my usual traffic, up from 60% on Friday. This was mostly due to one more site popping back into its original position. A few sites recovered on Friday, then a few more on Monday, then a big one yesterday. Anyone else seeing the same thing, particularly people with a lot of sites?

About 10 hours ago I have seen some of my keywords bouncing back to their original place. Lasted only a couple hours Anyone seen similar movement?

Are they still no. 1? My keywords got buried again after a couple hours.

My main site still not recovered yet.. my site with scraped articles now rules.
Panda still get drunk

Still no1 for my main KW, but lost about 50% of traffic due to a load of longtails dropping off.

My biggest sites have survived panda although one got hit for a short period but came back and is now doing better than ever. There is no secret Panda is after thin or dupe content. Not really sure how they work out what dupe content is. Because things get so syndicated these days who the hell knows who wrote those words first?

Anyway I dont really concern myself with the dupe content too mcuh other than not having any dupe content on my site.. ie no 2 articles the same or too similar on the one site.

I personally believe Panda is Google's response to the web getting to big for their bots. We IMers are adding pages so fast that Google just can't be bothered trying as hard as it used to locate those snippets of gold.

Pre panda google would ferret through all the bad content on a site to try and find those Diamonds! and those diamonds would rank well. Ezine is the perfect example of this. They had gems locked away under all that garbage and google bot worked hard at trying to find them. You often saw an ezine article somewhere on the first page and would definitely be somewhere on the first 3 for almost any search term there was. However for every Good article on ezine about polishing golf balls for more accuracy there was 30-100 bad ones. Ezine has been hammered by panda and continues to cop more hits.

Google has said F all this content! The owners can clean and sort their articles we aren't going to do that for them anymore. So I believe (and I could be wrong) that Google now gets a snap shot of the articles on your site and rates them. If that rating is bad then Google won't be turning up at your site as much as it used to. Matt Cutts has already said Panda affects big sites differently to small sites and I think that is because with big sites Google really can only take a subset of the articles, were as with small sites it can probably take most or all of the articles to work out that score.

Anyway what does this all mean? It means quality of your content is more important than it was. Having said all this I have an auto blog that is still ranking quite well and I am still waiting for the hit but it hasn't come!

Seen a little bit of a jump yesturday halfway through the day. Still nowhere where it was, maybe just a fluke, but woke up to higher pay/visitors than I've had in the last week.

Just reporting.

For about 1 hour, my sites came back at 110% what they were pre-panda, all my pages were on page 1-2 and then it dropped back down. So now I really do think google is running tests by bringing crappy sites to the top to test them and once their done, they will drop them all back to where their suppose to be. At least I hope!

I've read on some private memberships forums that google tests in phases and right now its most likely testing medium competition, medium updated and medium consistent backlinked sites. Targeting mostly sites in the money niche but not limited to that. Anyone experience this?

Yesterday traffic was back to normal, today dropped again around 60%.. I'll just have to ignore this crap and check my traffic after a month.

My website was hit on 28 September and 11 October and I hope it will came back.

Those that saw same movements, does it last? Did you do something?

I removed affiliate crap and the traffic jumped back to normal + 10%, but today I haven't done anything and it has dropped 60%.. and I'm talking about ~4 year old authority sites with site links in google. But 11th of October was the main hit.

nope, it went back all on its own. It went back to pre-panda state for only 1 hour and then dropped back down to post panda.

It starting to seem more and more like information gathering before they launch their next big update.

What I'm seeing is a complete stagnation in every niche I'm in, with pages simply not changing at all (even the niches with a lot of bouncing)
Seeing pages disappear, as always with horrible backlinking strategies, not seeing any SERP rises.

I was thinking that thin pages could destroy the entire website.

From my experience they destroy all websites on a single Adsense or Analytics ID, but I guess this is not valid for everyone.

Has anyone seen any recovery deleting from Google certain thin pages?
