Hello folks! As you see, there is a new Panda rolling out as of yesterday and I'm pretty sure it's not finished. Panda 2.5 - 28 October 2011 (as people reported losing traffic as of 22-26 October 2011) Panda rollback - 4 and 9 October 2011 (big websites gained traffic again as of Search Metrics. Panda 2.6?! - 13 October 2011 (I see serps moving as of 11 October 2011 and it's not over yet). As I see Panda is after a few things: - grammar? I don't think so. I've seen bad websites ranking 1-2 spot, so it might not be it. - Panda seems to be site-wide and it doesn't matter what you do, it won't go away. - Panda doesn't care about Adsense. I've seen Adsense and thin MFA sites ranking first and second place. - Panda puts emphasis on brands and EMD. Lots and lots of emd now rankings on the first page. - Panda seems to take more emphasis on old domains.. - bounce rate doesn't seem to matter YET. I've seen bad websites ranking and weren't penalized because they were EMD's and having links. Panda seems to care of: - duplicate/spun content. Let's say you write a nice article and someone duplicated it on a spam website. When you update your article, your article becames duplicate. If you have to many, Google punishes you. Any other ideas? I'm pretty sure Panda rolls out different portions of the web at once. So, it doesn't matter if you haven't been hit now, but still your website can be Pandalized in the future.
