SEO should completely stop keyword stuffing, exact match anchor abuse, and low quality guest post spam, as these tactics now hurt trust and rankings more than they help.

Pretty sure whatever's listed on google's "guidelines" is everything that doesn't work in SEO

Keyword stuffing is definitely one of the least effective techniques in 2025. Google’s algorithms are way too smart now so focusing on quality content and user intent is the way to go.

* Keyword stuffing? I don't remember the last time I checked keyword density... as long as the posts read naturally, I don't care.
* Exact match anchors? That's a big no for me... although, I see many use them wisely, they simply send 1-2 links to each article on the site so it doesn't look over-optimised. I, personally, also throw in links to the homepage and "random" keywords.
* Guest post spam... it's a hard one to define. So in here, I try to replicate the competitors who rank.
Extra:
* The longer the better... it's not true... just making your article the longest amongst competitors will not guarantee the results.
* A wall of text... similar to above... but it's better to make content as skimmable as possible... not just text.

overusing exact-match anchors and low-quality guest posts are the first things to drop. Focusing on real topical relevance, clean site structure, and content that actually helps users seems to work much better now.

In my opinion, the least effective SEO method is a high range of low-quality guest postings on low quality sites are one of the main reasons as they don't last.

Stop wasting budget on DR-chasing guest posts. Google has finally decoupled DR from actual authority. We're seeing 'DR 80' link farms getting outranked by 'DR 20' niche blogs with real traffic and brand mentions. If the site you're buying from has 0 organic keywords in the Top 3, that link is effectively a dead weight in 2026.
