What is more important - time or money?

Hi people,

Part 1: Sorry for my English but I don't want to use a translator and prefer to try do it with all words that I have in me head)

Part 2: A few days ago I was driving a car and I thought about the time that I am spending at working (12-16 hours/7 day a week). I am affiliate and working with 'not white' offers for last 5 years. So , I was thinking about the time that every day gives me , and on money that I am spending on 'things'.

Part 3: I have concluded that I am not spending money on something , but I am spending my life time on it because all of us making money but we are paying with our time for them. As we all know TIME is the main dogma in our lives, so answer is:

Do we spend our time in the way we want it ?
Do all money in the world will make me happy?
Do I need working 16 hours a day to make money and spend it in cost of my life time ?

I have a family which needs my time, but I am at race to make our life more and more and more better every time I achive my goals. We are hungry for success and we pay any price for it. Maybe you or I will live for 40 next yeas , but maybe not ....... I have ideal family, working out 4-5 times a week , sleeping for 5-6 hours...... but is this the life I want???

P.S. I am not independent of the employer. I am not working on any job, just doing my stuff. So a lot people here are in the same situation, just need to think about this questions.

I think there will be someone who will ask some questions to his heart...

No. 9 hours of computer daily max.

6 hours of focused work. 3 hours of networking and learning.

Think of long term ventures instead of just work.

16 hours of work is self destructive and will lead to serious mental health problems.

Outsource and automate your work. Learn business skills. And stop this destruction. Take care of yourself.

If you can't control this, find an employer who will not allow you to take work home.

Half the worldwide population doesn't have enough money. They have technology though. Just find some of them and give them tasks and bread.

You will make less in the beginning but will learn the potential to make more with time.is much bigger with more "business more, work less" approach.

if u can have 60k per annum in passive income, you will be less stress trying to work 12h a day daily

Once you have enough money you can just use that to get the time you want. Easy.

You just get out on bail bruh.

Money gain is decade long project. Not 5 minutes sprint. Focus on complex system that scales. Not 9-5 work alternatives like freelancing without outsorce potential for scalability. For some people it will be 20 - 30 years long journey but that's about personal stuff.

If a doctor tells you, you have 2 weeks and than you are dead, how much would you pay for more time with you friends and family ?

The answer is you would pay all you have for more time.

The answer is time is the most important thing. You have to earn your money smart not hard.

A lot of guru's saying time, but depending on your standard of living, that's time in dirt you'd rather not deal with, also time comes with long term health risks, so you can be spending it to extend or reduce your overall time.

You can always make more money but you can't buy more time.

Win lottery, go broke, depressed and that's it.

No coming back.

Only a brief memory of spending sprees on daily basis.

Management and balance are key.

And automation is key. All capitalism ventures revolve around this.

Been there, done that... Now managing every part of my life. Not neglecting stuff. Self neglect for temporary gain is naive that'll end good

Generate code and test it automatically. Write your own frameworks. Make your life full of factories and machines doing stuff for you. Don't follow random stuff on the internet. Follow like minded people.

Stay engineering. No matter how small part you're engineering.

Man , do you have enough money and do you have more time now?)
More money needs more work I think.
Maybe my reality is different , but everytime I make more money it's stimulated me to work much more for much more money........ not ending cycle....
I am working because I love it. I enjoy creating strategy , planing , getting results BUT I am not living life because of things I NEED TO DO ( and this things is also created by me )

This ^^^^^, as you can make tons of money, but you can never get that time back.

Both money and time is important for happiness. But the most important thing is to keep the balance in between. Otherwise, we have to let go other time with family or friends or the money. Which is not a good thing fo rnow.

Thanks for summary of my long winded babble.

Everyone works hard, often for long hours, to earn money. But this makes me wonder if the time we give up is worth the money we gain. We can always earn more money, but we can't get back time. Family and personal happiness are crucial, too.

It’s important to have the magic number so to speak of what you want to achieve financially if you want work crazy hours (80+) per week

That way you can bust ass and when you hit that number you work to sustain that number doing the least amount of work possible. That is the important part people don’t plan for in advance.

Almost all humans are addicted and brainwashed to the illusion of needing infinite growth to be happy without really understanding the philosophy and reasons behind such a ridiculously scammy concept.

Always remember that infinite growth on a planet of finite resources is and always will be scam to keep people oppressed and working to feed the “free market” and debt systems .

Rise above this ignorant hypocrisy and retire early and enjoy life….. time is the most precious thing we all have.
