It seems kind of out of hand to have such drama happening when the people working their act like AGI and ASI is just around the door. I guess we are human after all, but if what they claim and tease is true, maybe its the best to divide all the AI related matters. What do you think?

They are experiencing a brain drain right now. Lost their CEO and some troops. Soon ChatGPT will be powered by trained keyboard monkeys in the background instead.
Their business worth billions so won't happen anything

WeWork thought they were hot shit too. These big companies spend needlessly all the time, the largest MJ companies in California are just going under. Watch Biden cap the AI tech and it all go to shit, like San Fran (:

I think they will stay afloat due to their strong connection with Micrsofot. They have a strong interest in their data and their models. I wonder how the chat-gtp is stored and if it needs all the workers, or if they could just transfer the whole code and operations to Microsoft

AGI has taken over. All is fine. Proceed with your normal daily activities. VR & Soma will be provided to you shortly

I wished. I think we are a far cry away from it. Its all similar to VR witht he hype, then we saw how META looked and still looks

Being the one holding and controlling the first true AGI would mean money and power. Not to mention the utility. So if your looking for motivation for whats happening, you have to look higher and bigger. This is the type of power people fight and kill to get. What ever the actual narrative is, its probably bs compared to whats really going on. At least thats my take on it.

i don't think AGI is coming anytime soon.. i might be wrong because who knows what they work on privately somewhere, but so far it doesn't look like it.

Yes, I think AGI will take some really long time. I mean its not that we have even mastered AI in the first place. Its bascially Q/A Bot wich often does not provide the correct answers.

AGI will be control and I think however most companies know it takes some time. I think OpenAI knew however or at least Sam knew that it makes sense to tease AGI so people will throw their money into OpenAI. Its similar to how Elon Musk likes to operate, sell the dream and see the money comming in, you just need and audience.

I think some prts of this are correct, but I don’t follow the rest. What are you referring to as bs here?

The last "news" form an inside I read was that apperantly this was all caused by the CEO of Quora, thus Sam got fired because he was advancing without notifying him. This sounds at least somewhat logical to me
