I have been searching BHW for the past hour trying to figure out what CPA is. Could someone please do me a favor and just lay it out for me. I'm not lazy just busy. I gave myself only an hour on BHW this morning and I spent all of it trying to figure out what it means and what exactly can you do with it.

-Thanks!

CPA = Cost-Per-Action

I.e. let`s say there is a landing page "win an iphone 7". Enter your email to apply, etc.

If a user enters his email, this is called an action and you get paid (usually 1-2$ for 1-tier traffic).

Cost Per Action. Basically, you get paid when someone completes an email submit, pin submit or any other action related.

Cost per action (CPA) is an online advertising marketing strategy that allows an advertiser to pay for a specified action from a prospective customer. Doing a CPA campaign is relatively low risk for the advertiser, as payment only has to be made when a specific action takes place. CPA offers are most commonly associated with affiliate marketing. Cost per action is also known as cost per acquisition (CPA).

Just google it mate. Good luck

The first 3 result talk about cost per action, but maybe you can type "cpa marketing" or "cpa internet" or the hundreds of possibility...

If you don't know how to find something in google it will be hard to make money from it.

CPA = Cost per action
Think of it this way. Normally when people think of sales, they think commission. You sell something, you get a % of the sale.
With CPA marketing, you don't necessary have to sell a product. you're selling leads. It's usually an email of an interested customer. But not always.
So lets say there's a dating website that wants more customers. You partner with them and create a cpa marketing campaign. In this example, they'll pay you $2 for every lead (sign up). They give you a link that goes to their site. You promote that link. When someone signs up, you get $2.
That's the gist of CPA for a beginner. There's a myriad of niches to chose from, dating is just one of the big 3 (money, dating, health).
You can find a list of cpa offers and cpa networks on www.offervault.com
Good luck and welcome to the world of internet marketing.

You better not play like a smart ass, and post crappy questions before searching!

And BTW the definition of CPA is the second result on the SERP that CFB posted, but you are too lazy to even look at it.

Cost Per Action (CPA). Usually we make money with this letting people do it for us in our websites with surveys for example.

It's a good advertising strategy,get to know it a little better and it can bring you some profit.
