What is Cloaking ?

There should be some sort of FAQ on the board or a word list that explains all the usual acronyms and expressions to prevent threads like these. Would be a huge time saver. Anyone free this weekend? hahaha

Admittedly I haven't made myself clear enough with that post. I wasn't trying to say that there is no way at all to find a list with acronyms or to find out what a specific acronym means. What I meant was some sort of 'Sticky Post' made by BHW admins, or by whoever so that it's more of an official thread that everybody knows where to find.
 
Nice description to understand clear concept of Cloaking. What are the best tools for cloaking for SE?

I would PM you but I don't have enough posts yet and this one is kind of old. I personally know it works bec I've seen someone go from -$57k in debt to about $100 million in the past 15 years, another person similar story as well. If not for that I would NEVER believe ANY of this IM stuff works but it does. You just have to sort through all the fluff and fake "Gurus" and it does take work. You still need to test, test, test and optimize with or without cloaking and it can be done. Either way, these ARE GREAT skills to have that every business will need now and in to the future so you can always monetize what you've learned. PM me if you get this, interested. Thx. And cloaking is both hiding your affiliate link and your real page from the SE's...
 
Now most of us know what cloaking is, but is there a tutorial for beginners which clearly explains how to do?
 
cloacking means , visitor search for a particular site then redirect to another site but google can't understand the technique always. I think this is the central idea of cloacking. Google don't like this in SEO.
 
This sounds like a good way to get people to trust your site, but a little risky if they figure it out or the search engines. It could also give your site some security by obfuscating internal pages.
 
Cloaking is the form of doorway page technique. It is an unethical SEO technique.


 
According to Google cloaking is "a website that returns altered webpages to search engines crawling the site." In other words, a human reading the site would see different content or information than the Googlebot or other search engine robot reading the site. Most of the time, cloaking is implemented in order to improve search engine ranking by misleading the search engine robot into thinking the content on the page is different than it really is..................
