Is there a tool where we can check if the IP is clean?
If I may..A clean proxy typically refers to proxies with IPs that are not blacklisted by major websites like Google, Cloudflare, and can be used for tasks like account registration or account management without getting blocked. However, if a proxy is blacklisted on one site (say, site A), it may still work on another site (site B).
In practice, finding a "completely clean" proxy is very difficult because proxies aren't unlimited.
When you buy proxies from large providers, you’re often sharing those IP addresses with many other users. The more people using the same proxy pool, the higher the chance that one of them will end up doing something that causes the IP to get blacklisted. This increases the risk of using "dirty" proxies.
On the other hand, when you buy proxies from newer providers with smaller IP pools, you’re more likely to find clean proxies. These smaller providers tend to offer more exclusive access to their IP pools, meaning less competition and a lower risk of your proxy being compromised by someone else’s actions.
However, beyond just "cleanness," there are other important factors to consider when selecting proxies:
You can revisit Hidemyacc’s old threads to learn how to check these factors when selecting proxies.
- Correct location: Ensure the proxy IP matches the country, state, or city you need.
- Correct timezone: Make sure the proxy is aligned with the timezone you require for your tasks.
- Stable speed: The proxy should provide a stable connection without interruptions.
- No WebRTC leaks: This is crucial for maintaining privacy and anonymity.
In conclusion, to check whether a proxy is clean, you need to verify if it has been blacklisted by major websites. But beyond "blacklisting," it’s also important to check other factors that Hidemyacc has outlined above to ensure your proxy is both effective and safe.
It depends on the use case. But anyway, most proxies are Android devices anyway.Mobile is better than any other types of proxy cuz it has the highest anonymity compare to others
Sorry, but you are greviously misinformed on this, that’s totally off the mark. VPNs don’t magically make you “anonymous because thousands of people are using it.” Your traffic is still tied to your account or device, the user count just doesn’t hide your IP. Real anonymity comes from layering clean proxies, good compartmentalization, or Tor-style networks, not relying on a crowded VPN pool. Really these days to conduct any lets call it friendly abuse, an anti detect browser + proxy setup is the bare minimum and even then, you need to be careful. That is definitely a better solution than proxies that's what I do actually but VPNs are private because of the gross users like if you are on a VPN connection with just one person it would be useless but when there's thousands of people it makes you anonymous at least a bit.
Mostly true but if the proxy fails to handle DNS or WebRTC requests), nothing on the browser or system side will fully protect you. A “leaky” proxy compromises the whole setup, no matter how secure your antidetect or VPN is.WebRTC leaks are usually handled on the browser level, not on the proxy level.
Also a lot of the newer providers are usually just resellers of the big old providers.
That would be like putting lipstick on a pig, without any doubt, everyone who looks at it, it will still look like a pig. What about cleaning a dirty IP? Any recommendations for that?
Yeah, let me put a layman term example here for all to understand.By “clean mobile proxy,” it means the IP addresses have a low fraud score. However, mobile IPs change very quickly every day, and no one knows who used the IP before or what it was used for. This means if you use the IP for things like mass mailing and a fraud system detects it, the IP can get flagged right away. So, nobody can guarantee you permanently “clean” IPs – this can change at any time.
Low post count but quality contributor, nice to see and welcome.Often times people think of a clean proxy as an ip with a low “fraud score “ but often is not the case . A clean proxy often times requires a few things besides fraud score . In order to avoid ip flagging geolocation is critical . Besides that … ensure that you are hosting the proxies with the best possible software (not squid) . Besides that use an ip checker that also checks if the proxy has been used as a vpn since it could indicate abuse. Use a good quality asn and you should be good. In order to keep the ip clean allow resting periods and avoid high refresh times .
Your main argument that smaller providers offer cleaner proxies is flawed buddy. Think it like this; smaller IP pools mean fewer IPs to rotate, so when one gets flagged (which happens quickly), your entire operation is at risk. Larger providers have the scale to constantly cycle out blacklisted IPs, providing more consistent, clean access.A clean proxy typically refers to proxies with IPs that are not blacklisted by major websites like Google, Cloudflare, and can be used for tasks like account registration or account management without getting blocked.
