That is definitely a better solution than proxies that's what I do actually but VPNs are private because of the gross users like if you are on a VPN connection with just one person it would be useless but when there's thousands of people it makes you anonymous at least a bit.

VPNs don’t magically make you “anonymous because thousands of people are using it.” Your traffic is still tied to your account or device, the user count just doesn’t hide your IP. Real anonymity comes from layering clean proxies, good compartmentalization, or Tor-style networks, not relying on a crowded VPN pool. Really these days to conduct any lets call it friendly abuse, an anti detect browser + proxy setup is the bare minimum and even then, you need to be careful.

Lets say you have been assigned an innocent proxy, you did everything right, you configured your anti detect browser of choice properly and you made no mistake.

Session ends, the proxy IP is now assigned to a cowboy operator who DGAF or doesnt know better, he will do dumb things like exit TOR nodes with that, be caught by google creating 100 gmail accounts , multiple users doings what constitutes to abuse get an IP flagged(aka almost everyone on this forum) .

By now, this IP is worth nothing, its entirelly compromised and is better discarded.

Google Cloudflare and WAFs keep track of such IPs, theyre not stupid.

Now beyond what a proxy provider is capable and pricing and all that, chose very carefuly, you bet your arse the big providers do not clean their pools.

Often times people think of a clean proxy as an ip with a low “fraud score “ but often is not the case . A clean proxy often times requires a few things besides fraud score . In order to avoid ip flagging geolocation is critical . Besides that … ensure that you are hosting the proxies with the best possible software (not squid) . Besides that use an ip checker that also checks if the proxy has been used as a vpn since it could indicate abuse. Use a good quality asn and you should be good. In order to keep the ip clean allow resting periods and avoid high refresh times .

But it is scary how many people underestimate the levels of sophistication that google and trsutpilot and such companies have, many people are running straight into the trap even though theyre basically marked as "careful, trap ahead!" and then everyone wants a clean proxy. And cheap, yeah right, took me 3 months to find a good one and I am not sharing it until I know the operator knows how to handle an anti detect browser, I believe anyone whos had interactions with me will testify to that that I know a thing or two beyond what is commonly known.
