What information does Google use to generate sitelinks?

I have a new page that was indexed about 1-2 months ago, but I've noticed that Google is displaying sitelinks with titles that seem a bit strange or don't make much sense at times. Does Google pull this information from the title tags, or should I modify something in the HTML to help Google better understand which title I want to display for the sitelinks?

You cant change that structure, Its automatic thing from Google. But you need a better navigation if random links are showing up in your site links. Like clearly define pages and categories in your main navigation with proper title and description. That the only solution.
 
Google automatically retrieves the title and description to display according to the user's search context. Don't pay too much attention to it. Just know that you have optimized the title and description for your article
 
It's usually because of long titles or/and separator characters in the used title(s) ('-', ':', '|', etc...), or a mix of both,
And ofc, google can choose to use a different title depending on the keyword, or/and if you're using different h1 & meta title

I think Google picks sitelinks by itself based on my page content. It does not always use my title tags. I should make my titles and links clearer. I can also remove bad sitelinks in Google Search Console.
