If the internet were to be shutdown, I would focus on self development using the old of reading books; this is because in self development you can get to be successful in all major areas of life.

No possibility of that.
If it happens, whole world will suffer a huge loss but you still can survive without internet.
And within Max.48hrs, everything will be restored. Everyone has their back-up ready.
 
I think the internet is sustained by a number of smaller internetworks that are made based on mutual benefits and agreements. I can't see this happening. Let's not forget the actual, more 'tangible' physical backbone of networks are all made and funded by mostly public companies anyway and I have more trust in them than the government that can't even organise fixing a local pothole.

I don't know what I will do if the internet shut down. Let's hope that never happens. Keeping my fingers crossed. :(
 
Well, there will always be time to travel I suppose considering I'll be jobless and homeless after a decade.
 
while i'm pretty sure i would go thru some type of withdrawal since it is so much a part of my daily life. i think i would be fine so long as i can get back into anywhere i have money. if not well... yeah there will be blood
 
my complete business is due to internet so i shall try some different source for internet to move on
 
What did everyone do before the internet? We managed for a million years.
