Just wondering what has or hasn't worked for you. I'm talking about real traffic here, not bought followers or any bots.

I usually experiment with viral marketing, and try to engage my customers. Of-course targeted ads play a huge role. I guess its a combo of all. I also hire bloggers relative to my niche to promote my company.
Recently I started using Sharesly, seems to be working out good for me.

May I input my humble opinions? In general, seo is a must and may receive seo traffic - normal quality. In SE, quality traffic will enter and perhaps where you earned the most. Finally, social media for bounce rate and overall site quality - decent quality.

If you find yourself struggling, get a little paid traffic to mix into bundle but high quality ones else facing a large risk.

Well, since I get my traffic fro Bluagile, an online advertising company that has a self-serve RTB and is focused on CPM. I am using their brand safe inventory and is focusing on display banners.
