What happens on Skype...Am I missing something?

I am interested to know what goes on
on the Skype groups that are created here
and what happens when someone tells you to connect
with them through Skype. I have just recently started adding
people to my Skype and I wanted to know what the expectations
are. Do you do video calls or voice calls or you just use IM?

Also, some people tell you to add them to Skype and after
adding them they just go all quite, they don't respond to
messages. What does that mean? Has that happened to you?

Generally I only write in skype... every now and then I have people that insist on calling me and sometimes I even do a videocall with my indian coders, but then regret it instantly because I can barely understand their dialect.

Ok. That is helpful to know coz
I have only used IM so far. I haven't made
any calls yet.

it depends on which kind of groups you've! marketing bros always prefer to call each other where freelancers generally IM with each other.

Skype groups...probably the worst thing on BHW

generally as a rule the last thing on my mind when somebody wants to add me on Skype, is adding them on Skype.

really all they want to do is bore you, scam you, or leach off you. mostly just bore you one on one and then call you rude when you give them dogs abuse...............so sensitive

Most of the BHW users you I get are the same as OP says, I just delete them and if they keep asking question just because of whatever reason, I block and delete them.

On group,they just use for chat,not video call.

They die eventually. I have a very active group but it's a closed one. Surround yourself with/invite like-minded people and the group will stay active.
Some people join groups just to leech info.
