What happens if blogging really becomes dead ?

Blogging cannot die. People build up email lists in many ways and that's why they always have traffic and audience. Don't rely on just one traffic source.

Well i think mostly 50% percent of internet content consist of blogs ,writen post and you will say he will die soon
I doubt about it my man ,maybe after some 30 years i will think its a chance

If blogging becomes dead, digital content strategies will shift toward multimedia formats like videos and podcasts. Social media and short-form content will dominate, necessitating adaptability in marketing approaches to engage audiences through new, dynamic, and interactive platforms.

Blogging has evolved over the years and adapted to changing online trends it's likely that blogging will continue to transform and remain a relevant way to share ideas and build communities
Was reading journey thread where an experience member shared his experience how his 10 year old site which was making like $5000 per month is also caught in update. If you search Google for any keyword, only big sites are at top like reddit. So, there can be the situation where blogging really can become dead. This discussion is not about whether blogging can become dead or not. If blogging becomes dead, what other aspects of make money online be affected and how should we be prepared to fight against this ?

I think with the advent of tiktok, youtube shorts and reels in game text content will basically slowly die off for the younger generation, text will remain for the most part for us though

The wise creators already moved to video content. More output with less efforts there at the moment.

many affiliate marketers rely on blog traffic to drive sales and a decrease in blog visibility could lead to reduced affiliate revenue.

Blogging will not die. There are so many ways people benefit from blogging today.

no in my point of view blogging will never dead . yes it will change with time. so we need keep us updated and should adapted learning attitude instead if panic

You should also take into consideration the increased amount of data, that is consumed year on year, though video content gets larger share
but web search is also very much relevant

Blogging is not a business model. It's some sort of a traffic generation at low scale.
You can play with some Adsense and maybe experiment with a couple links like guest posts, but that's it!

Nobody needs this except some hobbyists like engineers who build stuff at home and have niche audience.

I believe if people start thinking about more sustainable ways of generating income, there will be less complaints and questions which make it sound like blogging is some serious business. It isn't lol.

It's just a little part of business to provide content to readers. Nothing more. It's not gonna give you any creative space. You can't really get innovative there.

while the internet has transformed significantly in recent years, we're here to debunk the myth. Blogging isn't dying. In fact, blogging is thriving in 2024 - and remains a relevant and profitable content marketing channel for the foreseeable future.

your site already dead if you target the same keywords that these big companies target

Sorry mate, but I disagree if someone says blogging will be dead in a few years time. As a freelance writer myself, I am convinced that there are trends and technology to follow that is why it is important that we always learn from it, not to run away from it.. as long as we are adaptive right?

Blogging is only one piece of the puzzle named "business". It should be a brand-making tool and cannot be trusted for earnings if you are not running paid ads for your blogs.
