What happened to my website?

Hi,

I have started my first seo project in March. I have bought a brand new domain, I have written about 10 pages of content, and then bought a diversity package from the marketplace. The website was ranking well, i bought a second package with some PBN links and it was going up every day. Last week it started to drop, for most of the keywords, i hardly get any impressions now.

What do you guys think the cause might be, does it have anything to due with the fact the domain is new? In WMT there's no message about any penalty.

Did you add new fresh content to the site?

How many links inbound vs competitor?

High competition niche?
 
Are you still being indexed? Can you find your site at all?

Have you got any notifications of manual action in web master tools?
 
I didn't add fresh content since then. For some keywords the competion is high, for some others lower. I do have more links now than competitors, but most of them are from low quality websites

I am still indexed and ranking, apart for 2 high competiton kwywords, I was ranking for those just for 3 days and then, when it started to drop, the website doesn't show no more for those keywords.

For the others i am ranking , best position is 19.
 
Without a hard look I would say from what you have posted your issues stem from:

Links from low quality websites - low quality back links
Not adding content to a new site
Adding links to a new site too soon

Perhaps you are dancing but I would guess the above from what you have posted.

How could i recover from it and start climbing again?
 
That might also be the reason. Think positively. Write some more articles and see what happens.

In general a fair amount of content posted on an irregular basis coupled with a light smattering of social bookmarking and i mean light.

Recovery is often a longer process than needing to recover in both the IM world and in real life so don't expect overnight changes
 
Besides, only 10 pages of content means nothing really.
 
Can it be also due to the new domain?

I have read somewhere that usually Google first gives a boost to new domains, making them easier to rank, but later they start losing ranks. Anyone can clear things up about this?
 
Just wondering you started in march right. How many referring domains you have pointing to your website? How far did your keywords go down in rank?

Think you should build links slowly. PBN and Niche relevant contextual links are best. I would not do too many packages that blast low quality links. Focus on High quality, do a little manual low quality just for diversity.

What could have happened also is some blog post links are now off the homepage so they lost some link juice.

I would do everything that Basstracker says, but also add a daily prayer in there. Seems to help me when things aren't going so well with my rankings.
