So I just bought a new laptop the other day and today I went to a shop to buy a bag for it.

The guy showed me the bag, I asked the price and he said 500 rupees ($7 USD). I paid him the money cause I knew for good that bag was worth 1000 rupees ($14 USD).
I then walked into bank and came back to that computer store to buy a mouse as well. The guy told me that he didn't know the actual price and the owner had asked him to put 500 from his own pocket cause the actual price of the bag was 1000 rupees. I feld bad for him and paid him another 500 - he was bloody happy for that!

10 minutes later I dropped my cell phone on the road and didn't know about it but a guy stalked me holding my phone and finally got me at a bakery and returned the phone to me. I bought him a drink for being this honest!

What goes around, comes around :) Be nice to others and others will be nicer to you!

He was the one in the situation so I'm sure he knows. Don't take away from the moral of the story. =]
 
Bk071 - great to hear and I 100% agree with you! Be kind to others and people will (more or less) be kind to you.

nice little story OP. i have also had similar situations in my life. "what goes around comes around" is so true, it is one of the laws of the cosmos so i suggest that you all get in tune with it :)
 
I thoroughly believe in this type of thing, even when it just comes to helping people out online and not in real life!

Bad people are everywhere. I was lucky to have my phone returned like that.
 
wait! so the rupees I collected in Legend of Zelda all those years are based on actual money?

I always thought Rupees were fictional lol... Learn something new everyday :)
