As title really. Am looking for ideas to include in an ISG bot. From people I spoke to, there seems to be two camps

1) one click promote my account - don't really care how, I don't want to learn / analyse anything

2) Give me everything, ability to tweek / filter / edit / review / analyse / compare / split test / list everything

What do you prefer?

Is there anything you wish you could do which other bots cannot? Or "if only I could do this". I am not talking about "one click create 100 accounts ;-)" More for advanced power users.

Any really good suggestions made, you might (might) get a free copy :-)

Number 2. I would also want an "account updater" where you can just place the info in the bot and it'll update the seleted accounts and auto update the profile pictures.

Definitely have a default one-click option, but have ability to change and edit as well.

Change profile photo and definitely the ability to delete posts.

One good function is to follow users who have liked/commented on a post, and like the users' latest photo as well.

An auto poster. Like how the scheduling is in Wordpress. Schedule 300 pictures to post in 30 days. 10 per day, with the ability to add hashtags. One setup and then you do not touch it for a few weeks. That seems like a fairy tale dream, though.

One more feature idea: do promo/shoutouts, where the photo will be posted at a certain time and then deleted after a certain time.

I think if possible, I'd purchase the bot for this function alone.

I have sent you PM of suggestions, please check. Thanks.

this^.............

The ability to follow or like photos of users right after they like photos of another user's account

Seems the general concensus is

* better control of posting images
* Upload profile images
* delete images

All of which are pretty complicated to do as require use of the ISG private API and if detected could mean images removed / accounts gone

Already got account details update, no profile uploader though :( see above

get likers / commenters (I can these notes) and get their images already thought of. And a few other compound searches, get followers of a user, get there latest image, then get notes from there etc etc. But any more compound searches you think may be useful, please let me know :)

lack of hash tags on image posters (from what I have read) is due to using the private API. At the moment, this might have to remain a dream :(

This might seem like a dumb question, but what is a shoutout? Just an image with a message on?

there are good examples from the past like xgram or instadominate, those 2 kicked ass, but if you can't built an acc creator and profile pic uploader/profile updater into the bot, not sure if there's any poimt doing anything, because there's already followliker which can do basically all the rest of the necessary things
if you try to build a bot for specific needs like some of those mentioned above, you may end up with something which is too complicated or simply not wanted by many ppl, maybe only a few

how about option 2 as a default and have option 1 if you lazy af to setting up your accs

It's only worthwhile if you can access the private instagram API, will take some time reversing the private key, and quicksand stamp function.

Exactly this.

@OP, you won't sell as much if the bot features are the same as your competition..

Be able to update bio, profile picture, and website link in bio.

If you can do the 3 things above I will buy it right now lol

There is "basically" and there is done better :-)

again, there is mass market and then niche market. Is not possible to be all things to all people. Going after a smaller market is a viable business option imo. Especially a more technical market. These users appreciate the power user options and tend to require less support than the mass market "I bought this bot what button do I click to make $50 a day" hand holding through each and other step before they inevitably want a refund.

Perhaps not, depends how it is executed. I like to build things iteratively. Not add in every single feature possible before launch. As you say, who knows if things will sell. But get the basics in, test the waters. If demand and sales are there, this indicates more time should be spent on it.

There are inherent problems with using the private key, which are acceptable to some, not so to others. These markets are quite separate. From the SEO marketers trying to push aff products to a musician trying to promote their account. SEO marketers accept the loss of accounts as part of the game, more often like to go in hard, bank and get out. The musician example, is in it for the long term.

But as always feedback and opinions gratefully received :)

As a non-coder and purely a user, I'd have to say we can't lose with more good programmers creating these bots. Will be helpful to us for alternative, competitive and back-up purposes.

Moreover, some of these bots can compete on other factors such as ease of use, price, gui, comprehensive user guides, video tutorials etc. and still capture a good share of the market.

To follow people who have liked a specific picture in a specific niche or profile you want to target in said niche.
