For those of you who rent or build your own mobile/residential proxies:
  1. Why do you use them specifically?
  2. What actual activities are you running on them

Thanks :)

Honestly depends who you ask, people use them for all sorts of things. Could be work stuff, testing, automation, privacy, random side projects there’s not really one main use.

we use them to manage multiple accounts on one machine, without them you cannot use more than 3 4 accounts on one machine

I mainly use mobile and residential proxies for managing multiple social media accounts and running automation bots. Datacenter IPs get flagged almost immediately by platforms like Instagram and TikTok, but mobile IPs have a much higher trust score because they share IPs with real cellular users. It's absolutely essential if you want to run scraping tasks, ad verification, or bulk account creation without constantly hitting captchas or instant bans.

I use mobile proxies for social media automation and residential ones for multiple accounts, always with an anti-detect browser.

I also use them for geo QA and ad verification, not just accounts. Sometimes I just need to see the same page the way a local user sees it without a datacenter IP ruining the test.

For sure datacenter sucks !

I mostly use residential/mobile proxies because they're generally more stable than datacenter IPs for account management and web automation. My main use is testing, scraping, and managing multiple browser profiles, and FloppyData has worked well enough for that in my experience, maybe gotta test yours if you give some discount :)
:D

Do you like better adspower or bitbrowser ?

I manage multiple accounts on social media from the same machine.
