What does "Specialist" mean to you?

The type of people he has as clients though...

Somebody who is great in what he does. It doesnt mean he should have any kind of degree or something for me. Only the skill matters.

I agree, but I would like some actual experience working with a team and experiencing how an agency runs.


would you guys consider someone with 2-4 years of SEO experience a "specialist," I see a lot of job postings that ask for a couple of years of experience, which is weird because normally I wouldn't consider someone with only a few years to be an "expert(people use expert and specialist interchangeably)." What do you think of this?

It depends on what you have done in those years of experience I guess, and what you have achieved.

Personally I've been doing SEO for 7+ years, but definitely don't consider myself an expert yet.
