What does "Specialist" mean to you?

I think about this Guru https://www.elance.com/s/pfpmarketing/10178/
You gotta go through his reviews, you will see that he basically sells Fiverr kind of a services for $$$ or $$$$
But I must say he is a smooth talk specialist

Damn, looks like it is time to start bullshitting on Elance lol

The type of people he has as clients though...

If you was any good at SEO you wouldn't even be considering working for someone else.
I agree, but I would like some actual experience working with a team and experiencing how an agency runs.

would you guys consider someone with 2-4 years of SEO experience a "specialist," I see a lot of job postings that ask for a couple of years of experience, which is weird because normally I wouldn't consider someone with only a few years to be an "expert(people use expert and specialist interchangeably)." What do you think of this?

It depends on what you have done in those years of experience I guess, and what you have achieved.

Personally I've been doing SEO for 7+ years, but definitely don't consider myself an expert yet.
