What does it cost to hire a freelancers/programmers?

Been scouring the internet all day for a certain wordpress plugin but all I can find are obsolete/non-functional versions of it. So, I'm thinking I might have to have one created for me or somehow modify the non-functional version I found and get it to work properly.

My question is, what do freelancers/programmers on here charge to get a job like this done?

I suggest really to hire people from here ! i go to other freelancer sites Worst thing ever!! I just hate hiring and always i have to talk about prices with freelancers even if it's showing that i put a price on it first so why someone come and tell me how much u are going to pay me if they already accepted
